I have travelled all over the world and I still often find myself in awe at the beauty, history and culture of England. As much as we all slag it off, our country is still something very special. This royal throne of kings, this sceptred isle. This Earth of majesty, this seat of Mars. This other Eden, demi paradise. This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England.

Hi Sean, been incarcerated for the last few months (for tax issues) but finally out. Missed your vlogs immensly so hear is a little something to spend on busfare or at the pub! I like Norwich for strolling around. Often pop up from our home in Essex for the day, misses loves the shops and I like the history. Shame so many shops are closing down but it's the same everywhere ( and the litter). Stay safe Sean..

Don't forget Norwich Cathedral is second highest in UK to Salisbury at 315 ft.
Norwich did have a pub for every day and a church for every week.
Biggest open market in UK.
Cathedral and castle over 1000 year old.
Shame the litter in the centre is becoming rank, what the bugger is the council doing?

Enjoyed the walk around Norwich centre Sean,great to see the old buildings,they got a bit of character and I love the market got some good little shops there !!!I just turned up at my sisters in Salhouse today hopefully we can arrange a meet up buddy ,the old fellow sang a good tune 👨🎤,see you got waylaid on the way home lol 😂 just a few pints or so, got to be done and then a Taxi 🚕 home 🏡,take care stay safe as it’s a bit dark out in the sticks and don’t work to hard on that removal job LOL 👍😎🙏🍺🍺🙏👀

Wow, I spotted that litter before you mentioned it! I have never seen Norwich looking so dirty! I grew up around Norwich and actually lived in Norwich for about 3 years (Pottergate), so this is fascinating, keep them coming! I'm travelling on the bus next time I visit!!!

To be fair, those streets were probably jam packed in Norwich during a Saturday, with beautiful weather, all that litter will have been cleaned up by Sunday morning

But I do like Norwich city. Had a few sessions in The Bell inn. Cheap as chips. Lamb Inn is nice but expensive. And been to a few more but not sure what they were called. Been to the Castle was a interesting look round. Cosmo seems to be picking up a bit food wise, but love the variety of their cuisine from around the world. Anyway take care buddy going for a shower and shave then picking the wife up from wroxham. Then a few whiskeys and see if i can catch up on a few more of your Video's. And why not ✌️👍

All the time I have been following your vlogs Sean and never picked up your from Norwich area, Im a Lowestoft boy and barely 25 miles away. Unfortunately, the City has changed quite a bit in the past 2/3 years. Business are really struggling over the recession/pandemic and many buildings to let.

Interesting vlog Sean. I've only been to Norwich once (I'm a Manc). I went to Norwich Union HQ about 35 years ago and never got to see the place really. I always imagined it as having loads of rosy cheeked farmers swilling and drinking mead and ale in the town, singing raucously whilst being served up by big busted chesty wenches, with some livestock milling about; goats, sheep, farm dogs, the odd cow etc, and loads of hay being thrown about as they got more drunk. It's very different I see and I think I might pay a visit for a couple of days. Nice one.

If you want a taxi number look at the businesses in the area and repeat the first two numbers of their telephone number .e.g. Wymondham would be 606060 . Doesn't always work but you can guarantee that the local pub will have a taxi number . Reminds me of being in Plymouth and asking a lady who was in her front garden if she had a taxi number . She wrote it down but had to check with her husband whether she'd remembered it right . A minute later she handed me the slip of paper which had on it 222222 .
