I want to thank you for giving us the gift of seeing this amazing quilt show. So many of us are unable to attend for many reasons & we miss out on the beauty & inspirations of these amazing pieces of art. Your time is greatly appreciated I Please continue to share your kindness❗❕❗
Thank you Sunflower Baby! I miss doing these quilt shows, I had just begun when the pandemic hit, then all of the craziness kicked in. I will be doing more, as soon as it is safe. I have a few more videos in editing, so those will be posted soon. Thank you so much for your kindness and support! :-)
Thank you for making this video. It's been a really rough week (and rough six months!), and this was wonderful to see. I love quilts and I love that ordinary people make such beautiful, imaginative things. Thanks again for the pick-me-up.
Thank you so much for your exhaustive work on this. I just recently saw yet another quilt show video where the opening bus trip took up ten minutes, the vendors another twenty, with ten left over for quilts. It was so shaky, I couldn't pause it to look at details. Others recently seen included a young blogger who couldn't stop blathering about herself stalking the well-known sewing celebrities. These show videos are important to me and other disabled people, and it's really frustrating when the narrator can't stay out of it, or they show more vendors than artwork. Thanks for staying true to your goal, and wishing you the best in these times.
Big hugs to you Lucy, thank you so much for taking the time to write me about my video. I feel the same as you, my vision was to let the quilts do all of the talking, there are so many stories they tell and they deserve all of the focus. Sorry it took so long to respond, this has been a crazy time and I hope that you and all of your loved ones are safe and well. :-)
I am just now seeing this and its Dec. 26th 2020 and I just want to say that these quilts are amazing , thank you , I hope and pray that we get back to having open shows again .
Thank you for watching my video! I also am hoping and praying that we can get back to having quilt shows soon. I can't wait to see all the quilts that have been created this last year!
Hi PoodleDoodle Quilter, love your name! I filmed these quilts at the last Road to California quilt show, and can't wait for the day where I can go back in person and film again. Thank you for watching my videos. :-)
@@jollymollytv Hello my friend a few homes down gave me the name bless her she always helps me order fabric on line or she let's me drag her along when I go to fabric stores she's the best.
Congratulations on such a beautiful quilt! The level of talent on display was just mind blowing, I can only dream of one day being able to make a quilt of this caliber! 💜
@@jollymollytv I totally agree with you. I think I was some kind of admissions error. By the way, I blogged my favorite quilts from this show (and in the next blog post, shopping at Road 2020) at my gefiltequilt dot com blog, here gefiltequilt.blogspot.com/2020/01/road-to-california-2020-part-i-quilt.html?show/. Thank you again for the delightful tour! But I have one more question - how did you get there with no other viewers around you?
@@cathyperlmutter1122 no, your quilt is gorgeous! You deserve to be there. I will check out your blog tonight. I spent two days at Road and waited patiently in front of each quilt to get the close up shots, one at a time. The overall video was taken over two nights, each about an hour before closing, and I edited out all the times I had to stop as people were enjoying the quilts. This was truly a labor of love and patience, but the quilts deserved it.
Mind blowing talent! Thank you for sharing.
WoW…all the work, ideas and skills are amazing!!! They were all stunning!!! Thank you!
You are welcome! Hopefully we can go back to quilt shows soon!
Thank-you!
You're welcome! :-)
Thank you so much for sharing this! You did a great job of videoing it!
