I use the 7 way pizza box wedge on my 22-28. I makes a lot of scrap, but the speed and elimination of physical effort (pullback arm) makes it all worth while. - Dick
@@oldguyfirewood I like the 7 way box wedge for the nice straight stuff. I made my mind up to buy a 22-28 from watching your videos. I just made a new video with an 8 way wedge on the 22-28 it works really well!
If you guys are re-spiltting 10% of the pieces because they are too big, exactly what are you doing? Or are you just being fussy... I don't think you are totally happy with that wedge. Great video
I thought my ULTRA was a fast splitter lol. Saving my pennies for a 24D I get mostly tree tops so 90% of it is pretty straight so thinking that 24D will eat its up.
@@jandblawncare8570 yes sir the 24D is a really fast machine I like to watch them run! I get tree service wood so I went for the bigger cylinder, thanks for watching!
The fewer the knives, the less scrap you have. Love watching that 37d! Keep it up guys!
@@KNLFirewood Yes sir thanks for watching!!
That eastonmade is an awesome machine!! It just makes quick work of it all!!
@@grofffamilyprojects it's a beast for sure I just wish I had more box wedge quality wood to split.
Love watching big rounds go thru a box wedge great video
@@StephenEubank They are fun to run yes sir! Thanks for watching!
Good video. Using a machine the way it should be.
@@jimwagner6260 thanks for watching! I wish more of the wood I split was suited for a box wedge.

We have the same awesome machine. What RPM are you running? Thank you!
I always run it full throttle I'm not sure what RPM it runs at wide open.

5-way looks like a bit less trash. Was originally going to get the 5 way but not likely I will ever add one because of cost and shipping.
@@hayesrutherford9415 They are doing a shipping promotion for $500. They were anyway but that would be an expensive wedge.
Sound better with a Cummins diesel turbo 😮. Keep away from CAT hard on diesel fuel in the firewood 🪵 business 🧑💼. 😢
@@leonardryan8723 Kubotas are pretty good engines!
Those 37D splitters will move some wood for sure.
Yes sir I'm very happy with it for sure thanks for watching!
