    Steelers have the benefit of the doubt with WR Wilson. Also seems like the right type of attitude to pair alongside GP

    My favorite draft player since the senior bowl and i can't believe we got him! Praying for the guy's success.

    Steve Smith ain't been wrong on a WR yet so I'm expecting great things from this young man

    Impressed with the route running and the separation. Good hands. The ability to adjust to press coverage will go a long way to determine success at the NFL level.

    He looks like a nice slot receiver with good hands and speed.

    So you heard it first from me. Roman Wilson will turn into Hines Ward 2.0 for us.

    Roman is going to be as good as fools would tell you Dionte was. Roman won't drop passes, he will block and he will win. If he was on the field in Buffalo, he catches that dig pattern in the end zone for a TD, instead of running a sloppy pattern. Roman is a winner.

    Hopefully hes a steeler for life, him and GP. And Hopefully AS can find the right way to use CA... I think austin in the right scheme can dominate with that speed.

      Russell Wilson will not be playing against 3 quarters of prevent defense in '24 and Fields is terrible. By Columbus Day, the Steelers will be missing Mason Rudolph.

    Alex, what do you make of Atlanta's league low 18% 11 personnel usage last season? Seems like a lot of people have Roman Wilson penciled in as the slot WR for Pittsburgh, but no offense in the league used slot WRs less than Arthur's Atlanta offense last season. Seems like Roman is a weird fit in this scheme, unless Arthur adjusts his personnel usage from last season and/or Roman develops more as an outside receiver with the ability to beat press man coverage consistently.

    • @Alex_Kozora
      @Alex_Kozora  Месяц назад +1

      It's notable. Smith's offenses have always been low on 11 personnel. But I don't think it'll be that low in Pittsburgh.

      @@Alex_Kozora Hopeful for an adjustment from Arthur Smith because I can see a scenario Roman's usage becomes frustrating for fans.

    Thanks for the video.
    What do you think of the idea of lining Fields up as a WR for some gadget plays? The threat of the double throw or just that he is that damn fast would draw the attention of a DB or two as they would have to respect the threat he presents.

    The Steelers have roughly 20 MIL in Cap Space. Cut Holcomb and Herbig will save 8 Mil, then you will have 28 Mil in Cap Space. Go and Sign/Trade for DK Metcalf or Courtland Sutton, Sign Justin Simmons or Stephen Gilmore and Sign Calias Campbell. These additions win the Super Bowl.

    • @robertdocholliday66sadler
      @robertdocholliday66sadler Месяц назад +1

      18 mil in cap and about 7 or 8 mil of that is taken up by draft picks and another 2 mil for udfa, and steelers like to go into season with 6 mil for emergency signings
