keep in mind that i wrote, edited, and posted this before microsoft ever announced they were doing a documentary. it will be interesting to see how close my story gets to theirs :) and as of the day of posting, microsoft has added more backwards compatible titles to the xbox one, xbox series, and pc, so fusion frenzy has a couple of more friends now :)
i really enjoy composing shots for that format cause i have to imagine things slightly differently than usual, more cramped. and sometimes it's a fun challenge. thanks!

I remember visiting a friend's dorm room shortly after he got the XBOX. We were blown away by DOA3. I had to get one and used some of my textbook money to buy an XBOX instead. WORTH IT!
that doa3 was graphically unlike any other fighting game i had ever seen before at the time. and quite frankly, it even looked better than most rpgs and shooters as well.

Great video and trip down memory lane. Though I still think the Dreamcast had the best launch lineup of all time. Soul Calibur, Marvel vs Capcom, Power Stone, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing, NFL 2k, House of the Dead 2, Sonic Adventure, Hydro Thunder, Blitz 2K, Trickstyle...and more. While Halo probably trumps all of these games, Dreamcast had more good to great games from top to bottom.
you're probably right about that. my only rebuttal is i was too broke for the dreamcast at launch, so i wasnt even really paying attention to games that year.
