Should you be worried about your penis size? While it's a common concern for many men, especially in the context of short-term mating success, it's probably not as critical for long-term relationships. I'm Dr. med. Dr. phil. Stefan Buntrock, a board-certified urologist and sexologist from Göttingen. In this educational video on #UroChannel, we explore the scientific and sociological aspects of penis size.
From an evolutionary perspective, penis size has undergone natural selection, resulting in the variations we see today. A fascinating 2016 scientific article questions whether cultural factors have influenced this evolution. I think it has to do with confidence. Men who have an average or above size are not worried about what women are going to think about their.
Men with more modest size might be worried about it. And some men will be less confident in meeting women because of it.
On average the effect might be small but over more genrations this will have a selective effect.
