The illustrations are definitely more adult oriented and I really like them but the neon colours are so tacky and horrible imo. I think kids would be more interested in the neons colours and they should have used the colours from the kids set for the adult set.
I miss the hardbacks that were actually printed on the cover, not some cheap paper going round it.

You convinced me to buy this version! So beautiful and nice that they have the option without the jacket is so simplistic nice to take to the park. The only thing is i find this version the pages are fairly thin and transparent

Man as a guy who likes Harry Potter I wish they would release like a vintage yet, with more muted Color’s. The covers are awesome though.

So that’s my shadowhunter shelf so the book series beneath clockwork angel is the paperback book edition of the mortal instruments.

Hey meh, the stories are exactly the same. The only difference is the design of the dust jackets, the boxes, and the illustrations. I honestly don’t why they call it “children’s version” and “adult version.”

They’re the size of a standard hardback. They are not the tall hardbacks.

Yeah, and the covers don't repeat the color scheme or inner pictures either. I have the paperbacks and I think they are far better than the hardcovers.

No, they are the same height and size.
Is there any difference between the UK and the US versions?
Certain words may be different. For example the first book in the US version is called the Sorcerer’s Stone while the UK version is called the Philosopher’s Stone. But otherwise, the stories are exactly the same.

Because I filmed similarly to how I filmed my other HP unboxing. If I ever film something like this again, I’ll make sure to film the inside as well😊

Hahaha there’s no difference to the stories. The only thing that’s different is the covers and the box it comes in 😄
