- This riff did not exist 26 hours ago. I've been so busy that I've had no time to practice, let alone write/record a riff for a video. I sat down yesterday and wasn't feeling inspired at all, just exhausted, so I decided to pull out some groove packs from RS Drums to kick-start the creative juices and in 20 minutes I had this. It's so important to have tools to help you stay inspired and able to write and oh man did this do the trick. Between the groove packs and how easy it is to make this Ibanez KRYS10 sit in a mix it's been the quickest turnaround I've had on a video. The mix is definitely not where I'd like it to be, nor is the video quality, but I reallyyy didn't want to break my already super slow posting schedule. 🤷 So I hope you enjoy coming back to some heavy riffing in E standard with me!
