This could be a very helpful video but no solution you did talked about was right for me. After a win10 update I lost my Bluetooth connection because of a wrong USB driver. My Bluetooth dongle 4.0 and even my Bluetooth 5.0 dongle did show up again as before. Eventually I did remove all USB drivers and my Bluetooth drivers in device manager and that helped me out. Suddenly I got my Bluetooth running again after hours of an in depth search what causes it. Thanks anyway ;-)

Holy shit…. You just saved my sanity. I have replaced both an ASUS dongle and an Insignia dongle twice, and bought a third one that’s on the way… all because I thought my computer was bricking them or something… 🤦♂️ They kept saying the drivers were missing or not working, but I knew I had used them on this computer before! And then this video said to try the USB 2.0 port instead of the 3.0 port. And boom. It’s working again. THANK YOU ❤️

Atualização: O programa não consegue conectar aos controles, desinstalei ele e conectei pelo Windows e funcionou bem, o programa reparou os drivers para funcionarem somente com o Windows. Atualização II: O adaptador não funcionou como deveria, continuou apresentando erro de driver, a solução foi comprar um adaptador próprio par isto, o nome é DS50 e custa R$ 55 na Shopee, muito bom, ele reconhece os controles de PS4 como controle de X360, o que facilita tudo. recomendo.

If you're using Windows 10 with a Tp-Link UB400 Bluetooth adaptor and Windows isn't recognising it: Go to the Windows Device Manager Look at the Universal Serial Bus controllers Right-click “CSR Bluecore Bluetooth" and select “Update driver” Click on “Browse my computer for driver software” Click on “Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer” Pick “Generic Bluetooth Adaptor” in place of “CSR Bluecore Bluetooth” Click “next”

Ano passado meu Dongle parou de funcionar do nada por ''Erro de Política de Grupo'', erro esse que pesquisei em tudo que é lugar em como resolver e nada que testei funcionou, incluindo atualizar drivers, mexer em mil configurações e comprar um novo Dongle (comprei 3). Listen to me You don't need to install anything! Just find you adapter in device manager, then choose to install a driver from a list. Then "let me choose from list" CHOOSE GENERIC BLUETOOTH ADAPTER Then you are done!

Initially I was suspicious of this, seeing as I searched high and low for a Bluetooth driver only to find one website after another claiming to have a fix, which always led to installing their software and then being prompted to pay for access once installed. I'm happy to say, this software is legit, it work for me and I didn't once see an 'Enter Credit Card Information' menu. I used Method 4, which seems to be the most common solution. Bluetooth is working great on my PC. Thank you, Brainers Technology & CSR Harmony, very much appreciated.

1. Reset bt device, look for a little hole use sim ejector tool. Search google for your model. 2. Reduce distance between receiver and transmitter. 3. Update driver. Good luck and pls like and subscribe.
control panel > devices and printers > remove any ps4 controller device or whatever > add device > hold share and middle button on controller > click ur controller to connect > yw i literally tried every tutorial on the internet and nothing worked, did this and connected perfectly and didnt disconnect at all

what part did u try. im having a hard time dealing with my bt dongle. it's ugreen. but on my devices it says it's manufactured by koga and model is dongle

Personally, I had to go into Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), sort all the processes/tasks by name, find the 'C' section, and close each CSR bluetooth or regular bluetooth task. Then I navigated to the 'Taskbar Application' and opening it again.

i have a bluetooth dongle 5.0 and it only works the first time detects my controller normally but when i want to connect it again the dongle says driver error and i cant switch bluetooth ON and OFF anymore ( i have bt services on automatic) until i remove the dongle and put it back, and it shows up as generic bluetooth radio in device manager help plz
Thanks for the help. Windows told me my bluetooth drivers were up to date and it still didn't work, then I went to the the manufactures site for the particular dongle I had and got their drivers, that did the trick. I guess you can't always trust Windows.
All the solutions (i tried all of them) does'nt work for me when i plug in le csr dongle in any usb port of my pc it make the noise of connecting usb and show the device on c/ bluetooth devices but after a few seconds the connection is turned off with the sound of disconnecting USB ans no bluetooth devices are in c/ bluetooth device.
issues with this bluetooth adaptor : Remove other wireless adaptors or atleast remove other adaptors after you see a driver installation processing dialog box , Remove other Bluetooth adaptors only connect from settings or from notifications bar , dont use bluetooth option from devices and drives in This PC / file explorer and make it more complicated

Bro, first ensure it works for normal case such as Bluetooth headset. Then try to pair PS4. Pls try with each option one by one i could see there is option called ALL try with that as well. Good Luck, Please like this video and subscribe to channel.

Friend - You mean your computer bluetooth works for other devices but not working for purticular device? If that is the case, sometimes the bluetooth device is in paired/connected with some other device(mobile) which does not allow connection with another device(pc). Solution: 1. Turn off bluetooth on other devices 2. Restart all your devices. 3. Know how to factory reset your bluetooth device and try doing it (mostly a little hole, in which you can use sim ejector pin) If it helps, pls like the video and subscribe to our channel..☝️

Friend - Sometimes windows default BT connect software and driver wont work. If CSR pls follow this video to download and install manufacture provided driver and BT connect software. guys if non of these work try this take out your usb dongle/adapter>go to device manger>action(top left corner)>device and printers>add a device(top left corner) than plug your usb dongle/adapter in while its scanning and it should work

In device manager, I have my adapter reading as 'generic bluetooth radio' and when I try to update drivers, there is an option to change it to 'generic bluetooth adapter' , but it wont let me because I get the same Code 31. Ive tried everything here and it still isnt working. *EDIT* . I was extremely short tempered and angry while watching this due to the few hours I spent trying to fix my issue, therefore I misinterpreted step 4. I downloaded the drivers from the manufacture website( tp-link ) and when I installed the driver it turned the generic bluetooth radio to the CSR thing and now it works.

method 4 works for me but only for one usb port. when i plugged in the usb dongle into the other port, it doesn't work. what should i do? i want my usb dongle to works for both usb ports.
Port inner color changes? it means 2 different port versions. May be your dongle is not supported for that version. in non working port other usb devices works?

Friend - It depends some USB hubs are capable enough to handle it, some are not. Again version and hardware compatibility may also cause issues. so the device does not work on hub then direct USB port is the solution.

Quando ho deciso di farlo (in questi giorni) installando il driver dall'apposito dischetto, mi appare la scritta: "Non hai una licenza valida per utilizzare CSR Harmony. Contatta il tuo fornitore". Che cavolo significa? Che devo spendere ancora per acquistare una licenza? Ma siamo matti?

@@brainerstech the dongle can detect my speakers and phone too. And it works well. But when it comes to the controller the pairing always so slow and eventually fail at the end

I've got 2 bluetooth dongles and windows 10 only detects one as a speaker and not bluetooth and the other windows will detect but when I try pairing my device it keeps on asking for a pin number and I even downloaded Driver Easy but window still will not detect my Orico bluetooth dongle as a bluetooth device so I just gave up in disgust and use the ear headphones with my tablet or phone both work fine

Click on “Browse my computer for driver software”
Click on “Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer”
Pick “Generic Bluetooth Adaptor” in place of “CSR Bluecore Bluetooth”

Just find you adapter in device manager,
then choose to install a driver from a list.
Then "let me choose from list"
CHOOSE GENERIC BLUETOOTH ADAPTER
Then you are done!

Initially I was suspicious of this, seeing as I searched high and low for a Bluetooth driver only to find one website after another claiming to have a fix, which always led to installing their software and then being prompted to pay for access once installed.
I'm happy to say, this software is legit, it work for me and I didn't once see an 'Enter Credit Card Information' menu.
I used Method 4, which seems to be the most common solution.
Bluetooth is working great on my PC.

1. Reset bt device, look for a little hole use sim ejector tool. Search google for your model.
2. Reduce distance between receiver and transmitter.
3. Update driver.

control panel > devices and printers > remove any ps4 controller device or whatever > add device > hold share and middle button on controller > click ur controller to connect > yw

Personally, I had to go into Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), sort all the processes/tasks by name, find the 'C' section, and close each CSR bluetooth or regular bluetooth task. Then I navigated to the 'Taskbar Application' and opening it again.

i have a bluetooth dongle 5.0 and it only works the first time detects my controller normally but when i want to connect it again the dongle says driver error and i cant switch bluetooth ON and OFF anymore ( i have bt services on automatic) until i remove the dongle and put it back, and it shows up as generic bluetooth radio in device manager help plz

Thanks for the help. Windows told me my bluetooth drivers were up to date and it still didn't work, then I went to the the manufactures site for the particular dongle I had and got their drivers, that did the trick. I guess you can't always trust Windows.
All the solutions (i tried all of them) does'nt work for me when i plug in le csr dongle in any usb port of my pc it make the noise of connecting usb and show the device on c/ bluetooth devices but after a few seconds the connection is turned off with the sound of disconnecting USB ans no bluetooth devices are in c/ bluetooth device.
issues with this bluetooth adaptor :
Remove other wireless adaptors or atleast remove other adaptors after you see a driver installation processing dialog box ,
Remove other Bluetooth adaptors
only connect from settings or from notifications bar , dont use bluetooth option from devices and drives in This PC / file explorer and make it more complicated

Bro, first ensure it works for normal case such as Bluetooth headset. Then try to pair PS4.
Pls try with each option one by one i could see there is option called ALL try with that as well.

Friend - You mean your computer bluetooth works for other devices but not working for purticular device?
If that is the case, sometimes the bluetooth device is in paired/connected with some other device(mobile) which does not allow connection with another device(pc).
Solution:
1. Turn off bluetooth on other devices
2. Restart all your devices.
3. Know how to factory reset your bluetooth device and try doing it (mostly a little hole, in which you can use sim ejector pin)

Friend - Sometimes windows default BT connect software and driver wont work.
If CSR pls follow this video to download and install manufacture provided driver and BT connect software.
If others try searching for BT connect software and driver online. But steps are same as in this video.

guys if non of these work try this take out your usb dongle/adapter>go to device manger>action(top left corner)>device and printers>add a device(top left corner) than plug your usb dongle/adapter in while its scanning and it should work

Man... Hub USB CAN use!! I use the dungle USB in the hub USB and works perfectly.

In device manager, I have my adapter reading as 'generic bluetooth radio' and when I try to update drivers, there is an option to change it to 'generic bluetooth adapter' , but it wont let me because I get the same Code 31. Ive tried everything here and it still isnt working. *EDIT* . I was extremely short tempered and angry while watching this due to the few hours I spent trying to fix my issue, therefore I misinterpreted step 4. I downloaded the drivers from the manufacture website( tp-link ) and when I installed the driver it turned the generic bluetooth radio to the CSR thing and now it works.

Port inner color changes? it means 2 different port versions. May be your dongle is not supported for that version.
in non working port other usb devices works?
Do I have to delete the windows generic from the hidden devices in Device Manager because Windows 10 hates two radios?

Brother, the inbuild bt scan software does not work in all cases that is where the driver and scan software provided by BT dongle manufacturer comes to your rescue..

If not CSR, pls try to get the software driver from actual manufacturers website or cd that came with product? Or search net for right driver.
my tp link bt adapter does not work properly with zebronics usb hub. why it is suggesed not to use usb hub ?
Friend - It depends some USB hubs are capable enough to handle it, some are not.
Again version and hardware compatibility may also cause issues. so the device does not work on hub then direct USB port is the solution.

I'm using csr for my ds4. I able to start pairing but the ending is fail. It says there is no pairing response or something like that. Any solution please?
Pls ensure you pair it under right device category. pls try different options.

I tried pretty much everything but still can't make the bluetooth work, its like a problem that says "device not discoverable" but it doesn't even try to search for any devices

Pls try resetting the Bluetooth device
I've got 2 bluetooth dongles and windows 10 only detects one as a speaker and not bluetooth and the other windows will detect but when I try pairing my device it keeps on asking for a pin number and I even downloaded Driver Easy but window still will not detect my Orico bluetooth dongle as a bluetooth device so I just gave up in disgust and use the ear headphones with my tablet or phone both work fine
