Why should they be embarassed? Glock is in the business of simplicity and consistency. If I go to McDonald's, and I want a big mac, I want the fuckin big mac I know and love. More than likely picking one of these up. I liked the Ruger products until they ignored the modern carry market. They felt like a company that mirrored the same attitude I disliked about the NRA. I had the same experience as you today Lucas, this pistol just does what I want it to do. 230 rounds today with my parish safety team through some pretty hard stages and I was putting a lot of As out and doing it with speed as I didn't really have to think about the pistol. It just went right on my hand with proper grip and the door just showed up. I've never been a fan of the Glock grip angle so this was a great choice for me to have the Glock experience at a great price. I'm hoping for a Flux style chassis for this bit honestly I'm quite happy with it in it's stock form too.
Gun Talk Media just did a video where a group of people ran 8400 rounds almost non-stop through the RMX with zero malfunctions. Impressive reliability and performance from a gun that's selling for around $400. Ruger/Magpul knocked it out of the park, and with it looking very likely that it'll soon be on the CA roster (the LCP was just added), it's going to be a huge seller in CA.
If it catches on will be exciting to see what kind of Flux style chassis Magpul makes for the FCU. Any color and probably cheaper than the Sig version.
Last I checked, the RXM was sporting a 3 - 4 lb trigger as claimed by other GunTubers. I wonder if they got handpicked guns, or custom trigger jobs by Ruger.

This honestly may be one of the best factory pistols ever if it holds up (and that 8400 round count in 2 days video, while only one sample, is still awesome to see.) All the “big pluses” of a Glock, sig p320, and Springfield echelon combined into one pistol, combined with a magpul grip!? Too sweet.
10 seconds in and I predict Glock boi gonna simp for Glock, however I will still watch the video. I don't much care for Ruger or Glock, but I would say this appears to be the best Glock 19 on the market right now.
Or, do what they did and make it better and sell it for less to completely undercut Glock if they get enough marketing. Who knows, maybe Glock will finally be forced to innovate something beyond putting one model’s slide onto another model’s frame.
I may have to get one of these so I can get ahead of all the aftermarket goodies that are sure to come. I could definitely see magpul making a flux type chassis for this. Curious to see if they already have products planned to announce at shot show since they released this only a month prior
It’ll be interesting to see how the aftermarket develops. I saw what was possible when aftermarket support caught up for the p320, and I want that in a Glock. It technically already exists with the zev, but it never really caught on, nor is it ever in stock. I don’t know if this gun is going to make as big of a splash as it could. The influencers are pushing pretty hard, but the gun itself looks pretty underwhelming. In any case it looks like we’re headed toward chassis glocks, and this is a step in that direction for better or worse.
I agree. But think back to that first base model 320 that was released. This looks Gucci by comparison. I feel like aftermarket pushed the 320 forward, as in aftermarket made cool stuff for the 320, Sig saw that and started developing more high end factory options. Honestly think the aftermarket is what helped Sig get mostly over the hump from the drop safe issues. That’s why magpul being a partner in this peaked my interest. If magpul makes a 17 and a 12 round frame and teases a pcc chassis, people will flock to it. lol Lucas not being able to sh!t all over it is going to get some people to hit the buy now button.

I liked my old Ruger .357 Magnum and was looking for an affordable 9mm and was considering the PSA Dagger but now seeing this I'm gonna have to check it out.
You guys should do a new glock with the new testing guidelines. Will give a baseline for others to be based on/compared to. I would also like to add a category of rifles, DMR. This category would hold the rifles between carbine and snipers, such as the m110 or mk12.
Just like when something is moving... you have to lead ahead of it a little bit.. When YOU are moving, you have to lead behind the target just a little bit. On all your "major" misses.. It was when you yourself were moving. It's a little counterintuitive, but when you have any lateral motion- your gun is also moving laterally.. the bullet inside it is moving laterally.. and even after you shoot it, that bullet still continues to move laterally down range........ SO if you are moving from left to right, you need to be aiming at the left edge of the target (depending on your speed of course, and distance). It's even more crucial on further shots.
The question I have, since it’s GEN three compatible does the brownnells long X slide fit on it? Because that would immediately give a long slide to the modular system. Secondly does it take all gen 3 Glock parts or only some?
I bought an Arex Gen2 Delta M this year and it has the silhouette of a G19X, the appeal of a Canik or a Walther, and the innards of a Sig. Slovenian made, it's slim and fits any G19 holster, weapon light or not. It also has unserialized frames that can be changed out for color or size, but getting something like a replacement slide is hard because of Slovenian export laws. Arex helped bring Rost Martin in Texas to essentially make an American Arex. Either would compete and compare well with the RXM I think.
I've never owned or shot a g19 but finally got this gun because the frame and trigger felt really good. I might buy a second one if they come out with other size frames
Bought one today. I had a FastFire 3 dot I picked up from a prize table at a match a couple of years ago. the FF3 doesn't fit the slide cut, as it's slightly too long. I'll be looking at other brand newer model RDS to put on this pistol
So Ruger, in collaboration with Magpul, built a Gen 3 compatible (mostly) Glock with a removable fire control insert? The future I see is: purchase an individual FCI á la Sig, an aftermarket polymer grip module (Icarus Precision, you listening?), and a Gen 3 slide with all the upper guts you need. Don't like the Glock grip angle? Maybe someone makes a grip module for the RXM that changes that for you. Want a comp? Radian has a Gen 3 barrel/comp you could pick up. The possibilities seem endless. Why WOULDN'T you consider this a decent option (reliability and longevity aside)?
Not sure if it’s just the camera angle but the ejection looks like it’s pretty far back like at the 5 o’clock position. Did you feel or notice bad ejection patterns
Like for the like god! Comments for the comment throne! The fact that it works with Gen 3 slides and barrels honestly is almost the most valuable part of the video.
5-10k rounds before I can take the gun seriously. I don't really have much interest if I feel like I'm going to be having major parts breakage in 2-3 years. PS. Apparently Gen 3 slides work on this...so honestly, as long as the lower portion holds up, the gun has a future. I should also add that some people were apparently having their triggers pull at 3.5-4lbs? I'd have to get one in hand to get a number that I can trust though.
Agreed. It'll be a while until anyone has 5-10k on one. And yes, we demonstrated at the end of the video mounting a gen 3 slide. It ran just fine for 30 ish rounds.

All the “big pluses” of a Glock, sig p320, and Springfield echelon combined into one pistol, combined with a magpul grip!? Too sweet.
Solid, interested to see more
Amazing shooting! The fast re-holstering is scary.
Excellent video, but I do believe the last minute will end up being the most useful part
Quite possibly
Overall, would you recommend this gun for beginners' budget entry into firearms.
Literally just buy a Glock
Oh, I’d never buy a Glock!
@@zeme0556if you buy this gun you’re literally buying a Gen 3 Glock
10 seconds in and I predict Glock boi gonna simp for Glock, however I will still watch the video. I don't much care for Ruger or Glock, but I would say this appears to be the best Glock 19 on the market right now.
They took the formula seriously. If you make a clone, make it just as good as Glock but cheaper, or make it better than Glock but for the same price.
Or, do what they did and make it better and sell it for less to completely undercut Glock if they get enough marketing. Who knows, maybe Glock will finally be forced to innovate something beyond putting one model’s slide onto another model’s frame.
Lucas is like to see you guys dive into stares of shotguns also. You guys don’t do much shotty work and it’d be cool to see your guys’ take on em

The trigger pulls under or right at 4lb for all reviews ive seen. I wouldnt call that hefty
My only complaint with glocks is the grip isnt comfortable for me, this hopefully will fix that
What does Lucas have attached to his Ear Pro?
bluetooth adapter for music. Was listening to synthwave while filming this. -Lucas
I liked my old Ruger .357 Magnum and was looking for an affordable 9mm and was considering the PSA Dagger but now seeing this I'm gonna have to check it out.
"The trigger wont let me go fast"... Someone get Jerry Miculek
Thankyou!
Excites to see more data on it, im really currious to see how it holds up to extended rpund counts
What optic were you running in the vid? I must have missed it.
Gluger? There's another, more obvious portmanteau of the two actual manufacturer names to use.
_RUGPULL._
No, that word is reserved for crypto scammers.
@TREXARMS Fair enough, I just find it hilarious that the combo is so insulting relative to the product on offer while being glaringly obvious.
I don't think it'll take all gen 3 trigger parts since it has a FCU and probably proprietary parts.
Lucas, is this gun something based off this quick evaluation and trial, that you would edc?
Ruger customer service is amazing.
Given that this operates off a fire control group, hopefully we’ll see some more flux style PDWs coming out for it
I bought an Arex Gen2 Delta M this year and it has the silhouette of a G19X, the appeal of a Canik or a Walther, and the innards of a Sig.
So can we put the slide on a G19? If so, we can now put on whatever optic we want!
Check the end of the video :)
@@TREXARMS oh sick......
I've never owned or shot a g19 but finally got this gun because the frame and trigger felt really good. I might buy a second one if they come out with other size frames
If a Flux Raider like chassis comes out for the RxM, I am in.
Bought one today. I had a FastFire 3 dot I picked up from a prize table at a match a couple of years ago. the FF3 doesn't fit the slide cut, as it's slightly too long. I'll be looking at other brand newer model RDS to put on this pistol
Is it sub 2 with your hand already on your shirt from concealed or not touching it?
Either
Does the TRL7 HLX fit regular TRL-7 holsters?
Great videos, but am most of all grateful for y’all’s stance of Constitutional rights.
Not sure if it’s just the camera angle but the ejection looks like it’s pretty far back like at the 5 o’clock position. Did you feel or notice bad ejection patterns
I didn't, but I also don't pay attention to ejection patterns most the time
I wonder if they’ll sell just the lower and FCU ?
@@TREXARMSMuch appreciated as always. I'm just adding information I've found for those of us who race to the comments to search for any other tidbits of information.
Keep up the good work.
You run that many rounds before you carry every firearm you buy?
😂😂😂😂😂 i believe you
The customization market is going to go ham with the lower.
Hopefully nothing degenerate lol
Flux dropping the chassis for this in 3…..2…….1…….
It’s already out of stock and won’t ever be back in stock.
