This year i've visited FALA. I expected it to barely have people speaking it, but it wasn't the case! They are so proud of their language that they don't learn spanish until they're 3 years old
the song in Aragonese is some dialect that's very mixed w spanish like today he said "hoy" and it's either "hue" or "huei", everything he said sounded more like Spanish from Aragón than Aragonese lol
Funnily enough, to me as Portuguese I felt that Catalan sounds more Portuguese than the Portuguese song used in the video xD, which uses the accent of the Alentejo region. Generally the European Portuguese which is usually shown on the internet, is either the Lisbon accent or the neutral standard that resembles the Coimbra accent, this more neutral standard has the same phonetic system as Catalan.
Castillan is the odd ball of iberia. There used to be a much more coherent continuum of the languages from west to east that all shared similarities except what was being spoken in north Cantábria, which eventually mixed with what was being spoken in Castille and Spanish was born as a huge speed bump
Unfortunately, the region of Mirando do Douro is depopulating fast. I believe the stated 10k speakers of Mirandês is a very outdated and very optimistic number. The municipality has now less than 6,500 inhabitants and I doubt all of them know Mirandês.

Y tamién se falan outras llenguas castellanas en gibraltar: el "yanito" (llengua mista andaluz/inglés) y el sefardí de los judigos que viven nel Peñón... Nun antiendo un critériu secessionista pa unas falas y non pa outras...

Esse mapa que circula pela a internet realmente está errado, considera sotaques tão destintos como de um mesmo grande grupo. Como considerar que no Porto ou em Viana se fala Beirão (?), ou considerar que Lisboa e Beja tenham o mesmo sotaque, sendo o sotaque de Lisboa o mais recente dos sotaques em Portugal. Esse mapa é realmente um pejo, quem terá sido o criador dele... Até hoje o mapa mais próximo à realidade, que eu já vi, foi um criado nos anos 50, mas mesmo assim há algumas incoerências do que considerar Baixo-Beirão, e também o que considerar Algarvio. O nome desse mapa é "Dialectos e Falares de Portugal Continental" se pesquisar, talvez o encontre.

Precisamente, omitiram as diferenças subdialectais que permitiam distinguir o minhoto do beirão. Mas o trabalho de Lindley Cintra já "enfermava" do erro de não distinguir o falar lisboeta dos falares alentejanos e da maior parte dos falares algarvios... Porque isto dos falares é uma coisa complicada, depende muito de quantos aspectos (fonética, vocabulário), e quais em concreto, usas para distinguir um falar de outros. Se te ficares pela existência ou não de betacismo, apenas consegues distinguir 2 falares. Se usares mais aspectos (critérios), podes distinguir mais falares.

This map for example, is a map of Iberian-romance, you can see French, basque, Franco-Provençal, Corsican, Sardinian, etc. marked as grey, as they don’t belong to said family
