TLDR for the Cylce 8 Titanium Weight Issue
TKD before Cycle8 GB: Look at how perfect the Titanium finishing are that were shown on stream, by reviewers, real photographs on IC & GB posts, and at keyboard expo, so you will not want to miss out the budget but exotic looks.
TKD after Cycle8 GB: There's no reliable way to control the quality of the Titanium gradient finishing, so you are suppose to get what's NOT AS ADVERTISED on stream, by the reviewers, IC& GB posts, or at the expo.

In conclusion, TKD has been deliberately deceiving customers into believe they are getting what they are paid for. It has nothing to do with how cheap or expensive it is!
TKD could've just said the review units were cherry picked BEFORE the GB, but why did TKD not?
TKD could've just said the "Gold Flakes in Black" color way got its named because the flakes are actually defects BEFORE the GB, but why did TKD not?
Simon could've just said "In the case of Titanium QC, customers have no reason to be hateful, as long as TKD announce the product flaws before the GB", but why did he not?
You see, since its establishment, it's precisely TKD that is constantly giving customers unrealistic expectation and breadking the contract. Even if we take a step back, let's say TKD had zero knowledge of the risks of working with Titanium prior to production (which they do: www.bilibili.com/video/BV1uH4y1S7dj/ ). According to Simon, sacrificing customers to cover designer's mistakes is a huge red flag for a studio. Therefore, Simon should've reminded viewers to be more cautious about TKD in the future instead of deviating from the question (price, chat, offers) and trying to convince customers to trust TKD again.

Wake up guys! Lolo is being open, honest and warm-hearted to Simon because Simon is an influencer not a customer!
To me personally, Simon's 100% supportiveness towards TKD is extremly unusual by making too many exceptions. He must be either fooled or paid.
Although I understand people make mistakes and do need to survive, Simon included, I just wish the old Simon can be back sooner.
