    Hi. Can you tell me plese what supplements do you use for the syrum? The cobalt and manganese are separate added or do you use a product that contains those minerals in one product.

      We prepared a product with coral, manganese and magnesium all in one in an alcohol based formula, and we ad this into the syrup and Pattie. I show this on the future videos... maybe in march...

    Hello from Saskatchewan Canada. Thanks for giving a lot of great helpful information (even though I stick with 1:1 sugar water even into the fall feeding). Do you find the bee growth to be 80% more with 10 flows a day for 3 minutes or is that over and above bucket feeding in general? Or is that just over no feeding at all?

      Hi, Thank for watching. 80% is for the full stimulation Strategy, with protein Pattie, and automated stimulation system. Only for stimulation with syrup, difference between bucket stimulation and automated stimulation method on our tests was from 15-35 % more with automated stimulation method. With the same colony strength.
      But for the full stimulation strategy what we use the results is 80% more for traditional stimulation method (2-3 stimulation / week with 500-800 ml syrup).

      @@ModernBeekeepingJourney Vary interesting the 15%-35% bigger than i would have guessed, could be the different of making it or not. We have short window for build up here in Canada so early build up input cost could be worth the investment over time. Do you do this on rainy days also?

    • @ModernBeekeepingJourney
      @ModernBeekeepingJourney  5 дней назад +1

      Yes, we use the automation stimulation every time on the development period, in sunshine, rainy days, no matter. The different is coming from our apiary from the multiple aspects.
      1. On the bucket we use F40 (corn syrup) without adding water, F40 on our Country has 22-23% of water. appropriate to the honey. And for automation stimulation system we use 2:1 portion (2 litre water: 1 liter F40 (corn syrup).
      2. Tha automation stimulation system, helping us to closely replicate natural nectar flow and triggers a brief orientation flight in the colony, increasing pollen collection. in every stimulation portion. We use most of the times 1 minute, (50ml) sirup one time, and programing the system from 3-10 times / day. When we start the system use it on the first week, with 3X1 minute / day, daily 150 ml. On the second week, 5-6X 1 minute, 250-300 ml / day. And when the colonies is enable to old all the syrup an his consumption is the same portion we increase up to 10X1 minute / day, 500 ml.
      Because is a concentration of syrup with 2 litre water and 1 liter F40 Corn syrup, the final of evaporated the water, and used to brood rearing, remain for bees approximately 180 ml of food with maybe 18-20 % of water.
      And wee monitoring the dale consumption of bee colonies, because we want to add the same amount of food. And when the colony consumption is 400 ml, and the natural nectar flow maybe is 200 in middle of march (an example) we can use 10X 1 minute (500 ml) because the end of the day remain 180 ml. And we can sustain the colony needs, with a little downgrade, decrease their winter storage.
      But than the storage is about 5-6 kg, we can increase the stimulation... Ex.
      The colonies consumption is 600 ml / day, and nectar flow is 300 ml / day, Wee need to introduce 300 ml on stimulation, this means 900 ml syrup (2 litre water:1 litre F40 corn syrup). Because in this case remain on the end of the day 300 ml. and this is exact what the colony need to develop.
      And in this Case we can add 10 time / day, but not 1 minute every time. We can set the programing to 8X2 minutes is 800 ml, and 2X1 minute is 100 ml in total 900 ml os syrup.
      I hope you understand this looooong loooong answer, and my explication.. Thank you very much. (English is my third language, and I can't speak and write very fluently and correct, but I learn in every day).
