Just love this song!!! I have cried so much to this song. I did a Sabbath school program once and I played your song at the end of the presentation, and all the other people were just as blessed as I was when I heard it the first time.

I agree with a lot of these comments.. this song has been a direct vehicle the God has used at moments where I was walking away completely from God as a result of guilt and shame. Even now as I write this comment I am in tears, because this song always reminds me how and why it is that I remain on the path. I agree with you that this song was a gift from God. It’s had a real tangible effect in my life. Thank you both for your steadfastness in doing this ministry, I recognize that it is not at all easy. Thanks for showing another beggar where the bread is.

Something awful happened to me a bit over a year now. Of course complicating it was knowing that part of the reason it happened was my fault. And I felt like it was too much for me to bear. I had also always believed that no one would love me if i wasn’t good enough, successful enough, capable enough. During this last 16 months I have been on a whole new level of experience with the Lord because I was finally honest with myself and Him about who i was and how I felt and what I thought about love and forgiveness.
The situation didn’t get any better but on Dec 15th last year God showed Himself to me in a way that I will never forget. I finally felt like I was actually loved and accepted and forgiven no matter what.
A friend played this song for me in the middle of all the pain and now hearing your story months later, why you wrote it, its no wonder it spoke to me so much. I still cry every time I hear it.

God bless you both for allowing to be His vessels. Every time that I hear this song, I hear the voice of God speaking to me personally. If it was not this song, I would have ran away from God. His greatest method He uses to win me is His love.

Thank you so much for sharing this story, especially for taking the risk of being real, honest, and vulnerable. The song was already beautiful, but even more so after having heard the story.
