As a guy that loves to do fun DIY on my spare time besides cosplays, I bought this megazord, & currently giving it the custom paint job to make it as accurate as possible. Masking tape & spray paint really helped making that cheap plastic into a silver metallic look.
I want Green Dragon Zord, the Thunder Zords, the White Tiger Zord, the Ninja Zord and the Shogun Zord. Everything else can bite me, but I want those I mentioned.
I’m glad I found this video. I was gonna buy one soon so I’m happy it would be worth the purchase and thank you for letting us know about the decals stickers!
Great review. Bought it the other day and just ordered the sticker set after finding out about it. Will probably add some silver paint to the sword as well (before putting in the actual sword stickers).
I don't think the person who made the instructions included with the Dino Megazord know how the Megazord is supposed to look, because they did a lot of stupid things with the "finished" Megazord. The tail is supposed to fold up after the Mastadon attaches, but the instructions show that the tail is kept down so the Zord and tail form a right angle, which is NOT how it's supposed to go. Also, if you're wondering how the Pterodactyl attaches in tank mode, it took me a while to figure out, because the Pterodactyl has what looks like tabs above it's lower fins that look like they're supposed to slot in, but there's nothing on the back for it to slot into. What I found out is that the Mastadon's feet hanging off of the tank's back have notches in the middle of them, and the fins of the Pterodactyl are supposed to go into those (and if they do, they risk shredding up the stickers on the fins...), but I never got those notches to grip the fins, so I simply rested the fins in those notches as best as possible and let it lean forward slightly against the head of the T-Rex. The small guns that go on the tank modes "arms" also tab onto the Pterodactyl's fins to kinda-sorta make feet that help it stand in a perching position, which is kinda neat.
Yeah, I figured out the Pterodactyl thing after the fact. But I agree, the "instructions" barely instruct so if you don't know about the zord beforehand, you might have a hard time.
Pterodactyl actually mounts to the back of the T-Rex in tank mode, I just couldn't figure out how to do it based on the instructions provided. Realized how to do it properly after making this video though.
I see that now i was just confused cause when it goes to megazord mode tyradactyl flys in. Its like one frame its there next its not and it flys in to combine with megazord.
loved the video. considering getting it for my collection sometime after christmas (usually get stuff like amazon gift cards and if so and can...get it) I usually try and get original toys (in any condition I can) if cheap. for the price Ive seen this go for. best option. I have a smaller megazord that was released in 90s where fists shoot out and the triceratops and sabertooth are only zords that are removable and becomes cars basically. But want a put together megazord to go with my original thunder megazord (missing stuff as got each zord seperatly online and at conventions. missing jewel on helmet, the sword and the fire bird legs/attatchment. and some other issues but for price it looks good together
I got one myself yesterday (sold separately as 3 of a set) and I've seen another review where the guy is cursing it because it costed 45 bucks. Like the other reviewer, same difficulty with the mastodon (needed to poke with tweezers) and slanted saber-tooth tail. I'm happy with it though, and it does look built to survive a 4-year old.
Are there really that many 4 year olds that are into OG MMPR these days? It seems like even though this is clearly a toy the primary market would be the nostalgia collectors market.
Got this for my nephew's 4th birthdays he's gonna love it. Along with some MMPR figures I got on ebay. Do they make a dragonzord to combine with the dinozord?
He'll definitely love it! There is no Hasbro Dragonzord just yet, but there are things on this Megazord that indicate we'll be getting a compatible one at some point (hopefully!)

This is a pretty cool zord definitely brings nostalgia now we just need the dragon zord.
Agree, we need dragon zord. Legacy dragon zord is quite expensive for me.

@@Maxx_XIII that would be amazing.
Is there a compatible Dragonzord for this?
This seems pretty solid and cool for the cost. It seems like many collectors want a full on collector's piece at a toy price point.
Well it costs $70 now so...
@@ParticlePrimestill cheap😮
Where do I get the stickers?
Onde vc comprou p adesivos veio junto com a caixa?

They're at bd15decals.com!

Hi ! Where do you find the decals? Many thanks
Is this any different than the ones that are available separately at walmart?
Same toys, just different packaging. This configuration was only available through Amazon.
Ok so its just the hasbro zord in a new box that has all fve zords in it already unlike the ones in the store you get in the three packs
Yes that's exactly right!

The stickers comes with the Amazon megazord? Or did you buy them like an extra?
BD15 decals makes them separately. They're closer to the original 90s toy and look a lot better
@@sirmattyboy where can I buy them?

Yeah when you first unfold Mastodon it feels like it's going to break
Teradactyl wasnt part of tank mode it didnt add till it went into megazord mode

@@sirmattyboy in the show it doesnt combine In battle mode is what i ment

Gonna get one and paint it
Thx for showing us this megazord. Never seen it before. Is the quality enough for a 3-4 year old kid, though?
Yes, just be mindful of the small pieces!
@@sirmattyboy yes, i know. Thank you for your conserns. Hes isnt chewing stuff anymore thats ok. Hes also playing with lego sets already.

Cool
We need more zords in this form!!!!
You get a Hasbro megazord for your kids to throw around, you get yourself a Soul of Chogokin megazord because you can and you want quality..
Or you get the Hasbro megazord because it's a decent affordable option. Everyone's different.
Do you have Dragonzord by Hasbro?
The decals look great!
Omg i love it
It's $75 now😢
Got so many versions
Really cool bro
I bought the complete set from ToysRus
ArticuLATED. Its joints and limbs don’t talk.😉
This was unscripted and I misspoke. It happens.
Dear God the lack of effort made in poseability is laughable
That is so nice of you to say! Thank you so much! Have a great day!
It looks so boot legged 😩😩😩
Yeah I noted the lack of decals and stuff. But once you slap on the aftermarket stickers it's a decent addition to the collection.
