At least it still looks better than the Legacy line. This one has better proportions and articulations, doesn't use stickers, doesn't loose its feets because of too much weight in them and looks better combined as a megazord, but yes... the plastic used looks cheap, even on video... Still waiting for mine to really make my own advice about it. But, with the dragonzord coming and if they do the other megazord, it can be a very nice collection. :)
I never had any from the legacy line so i couldn't make any clear comparisons sadly... In hand the plastic quality just doesn't translate well to the price i paid although ill agree with you that there are no stickers used and the paintwork is really really well done. Its just the execution could be better since its a new toyline :/ im contemplating on getting the dragonzord too actually
@@Humbledcollector It's only because they announced the Dragon Zord that i wanted to drop into that line, I do love to combine the zords, and i'm hoping to see the Thunder Megazord and White Tiger Zord coming :p
The EXACT type of review I love! Here's everything you need to see in detail all in less than 10 minutes! For everyone who gets him, I hope you enjoy him! For me? I'm glad I cancelled my pre order and waited for videos like this. It just doesn't seem worth the price to me!
Thanks so much for watching! Really appreciate it 🙏🏽 And indeed, to each their own. If they really want to get this, sure. But it really is not worth it sadly 😔
Great review! I really hope a third-party company like Toy Hax makes some gap fillers for the legs on the Sabretooth Tiger. Sure, the original DX Dino Megazord toy from Bandai had those gaps but this is supposed to be an improvement. Seems like such an odd thing to add so much amazing panel line details everywhere but leave those gaps. This is a little thing but I do appreciate the little pilots and the fact that all the Zords will be 1/144 scale. Also, the ab crunch on the Pterodactyl Zord was a nice touch. I really hope Habro is about to get to the Ultra Zord and beyond because the Megazords from Zeo, Turbo and Space definitely need some modern toy love. This line has the potential to be something really great if it continues. Thanks for the review.
The knee joints just killed this thing for me. It might seem small, but this is 2022, and I'm sick of companies half-assing the engineering on combiner robots. Getting better range of motion on these things doesn't require expensive tricks, they just have to think about it a little. If you're open to feedback; I like the cuts you did a lot. Very to-the-point. I think if the font were a little larger it would have helped me read the subtitles easier. Also maybe increasing the contrast of the border, since your table is also a very light color. Maybe up the BGM a notch or two, since you aren't speaking, and the paper crinkling sounds super loud in comparison. But overall, great video, I'm glad I found this one.
Hi thank you for watching :) and yes i do agree, some of the joints on this figure surprise me but not in a good way haha. If they had to hold back on the premium paint to make do for better articulation, i think i would prefer that... And thank you also for the feedback, i really do appreciate cause it aids in my future video editings! i'll take note in terms of the font size and borders as i had just started using the borders so i wanted to see if it works or not. still trying to get the right balance for the bgm and also the "asmr" sounds but again thank you for the comments :)
I totally agree that the cheap feel can be a let down especially how pricey it is. That being said I got it recently and despite the flaws I love all the improvements over the Ban Dai version I owned as a kid which was very bulky and with very limited posses and articulation. With how fragile and stiff this version feels I would say this is better as a display only piece than a child’s plaything. To quote Geri the cleaner from Toy Story 2. ‘He’s for display only. You handle him too much he’s not gonna last’
Very good job, as always. A quick question please. My favorite Dragonzord is the Legacy version. Can you combine the Zord Ascension Project Megazord with the Legacy Dragonzord? Thank you in advance!
Thanks for the compliment! Really appreciate it. But sad to say, already sold off my ZAP Megazord so i cant check if they can combine or not... but to my knowledge i dont think legacy and zap can combine with each other 🤔
Man I wish I still had my og megazords I used to have damn near everyone all in boxes too. Used to have set out like I was makin a crosssover episode or movie from my own imagination. I wonder if they make the crossover zords that use 2 or more to create a bigger one
for the tyrannosaurus the elbow joints do work, the hinge is slightly above the elbows just try to wiggle it abit mine was very tight at first but after a slight wiggle it worked. i guess they didn't QC the paint so some of it was super thick so it bothered with the articulation
Crazy expensive, but at this point I just might bite. I haven't been impressed with a Megazord figure since the Super Robot Chogokin (the little one that's super articulated, but doesn't transform). If the Dragonzord is actually well articulated and scaled well, that might seal the deal. At least I've got over a year to think about it.
I like the look of this toy buy hasbros QC really lets mine down. Sword arrived bent, his left arm rachet is WAY tighter than his right, one side piece on his legs are loose, even the transparent M on his left arm is fogged up and not as clear as the one on the right.
Nice video 3/4 of the video on youtube forget there triceratop can become fatter like the SoC !!! Dude its still depress me that no megazord exept the 93 have wheel its almost ridiculous !!!
Thanks for watching! Initially i did forget but i looked through the tricera zord again and expanded it a bit as it should. And the no spinning wheels does suck also haha
This was up for pre-order on Hasbro pulse but now that its released , maybe you'll have to look for it on the secondary market or any hobby shops that you have near you :)
So I'm a Transformers fan with a causal interest in Megazords. SOC is too expensive for me. I don't own any Power Rangers Megazords and want to get into collecting them. Is this a good entrypoint for someone like me?
Hi there! And hmmm thats a good question. Honestly i think this line is a good entry point if youre willing to spend abit more for your first zord. Its slightly cheaper than SOC but quality wise its lesser. Or if youre willing to search around, the Legacy zords are another option too :)
I thought these would be smaller. I think the mistake they made was in making them as big as the original. if they made them smaller, they could have gotten away with the price, but with more articulation.
I think they were trying to scale this megazord in the 1/144 range so i think its about right of a size? As it is, the build quality and articulation does not tally with the price i paid for haha
I guess because for the price we are paying, the quality doesnt seem to stand up to it. Sure good paint application and all but in hand it doesn't feel like a premium toy. More like a kid's toy with high end paint 🤔

This is unreal it’s not diecast that really makes me mad they did wonderful box but just plastic I will still buy but this is a 200 joke
Never had the original 93 megazord, so I was looking forward to this. Now I don't know. Maybe I'll wait for it to go on sale.
Its not worth the full retail price honestly. If it goes on sale or clearance then it'll be more worth it 😅
You should check out the flame toys mmpr megazord. It’s crazy.
