This is Page in a natural environment, noodling away, looking for ideas and not bothered about the state of his playing. I've been musician since the early nineties and as much as you love it, sometimes you do get bored of it or the ideas don't flow so you just start playing scrappy.

I've heard most of this stuff in another recording represented to be from his home studio. I am not going to hazard a guess of whether this is Jimmy noodling around, but I'm pretty certain this was not at Bron-Y-Aur. The piano section is identical to the "home studio" recording and sounds suspiciously like an Eric Satie composition. I've never heard anyone mention a piano at Bron-Y-Aur and it seems like they would have. There are also clicks and switches in this recording that lead me to believe that this was recorded on professional electrical equipment and not the primitive battery operated equipment they would have had to use without electricity.

that piano piece my god jhon paul jones should've had more spot light and solos his piano and base skills are out of this world there were to much skill to uncover from this band they brought it all up in the earles court 1975 dazed and confused that preformence is a masterpiece always gives me chills and my first to go when am high

Uh, that's not John Paul Jones on keys...
It's a song written by Page during the PG sessions but was turned into a piano piece titled, 'Carol's Theme' or 'Jill's Theme' (can't recall which) and used for the Death Wish 2 soundtrack.
The keys are played by Dave Lawson, who played on the Death Wish ll soundtrack sessions with Page and others.

I don't know. There are definitely several recordings from Jimmy himself towards the beginning of this video, there's no doubt about it.
There are many bootlegged box sets available of LZ studio sessions, some of which I've been listening to for years and know by heart.
But there is also quite a bit of unfamiliar guitar pieces within this video that I've never heard before, and honestly they do not sound like Page at all. The latter half is not nearly as good as the first half.
    I'm very skeptical.
I know Page's "unofficial" guitar pieces like I know the back of my own hand. I have gotten a hold of nearly every single bootleg with Page on it in existence over the decades. I would bet serious money that, aside from the first half or so, this isn't Page.
It seems someone posted a few of Jimmy's studio sessions here in this video but then threw in their own stuff for whatever reason. The latter half is not Page.
Sue me. I know my Jimmy. Lol

Once again Robert, what did you do to Jimmy's legs? why did john bonhamn fake his death? I saw him in Plant City almost 15 years ago and he is just a bum. He did not change his first name, but he does look different, but not enough that you could not recognize him.
