Yes, this pretty much is Dreamcatcher telling their haters and trolls to shut the FFFF up. This was part two of their Dystopia storyline. Part One is called Scream, and it is every bit the banger that Boca is. PLEASE check that one out, I SWEAR you will LOVE it if you liked Boca at all.
It is can be more complex than that. It is a continuation of "Scream" (part 1 of the Dystopia MVs) and forms a social commentary against online hate and malicious comments etc. While "Scream" highlights the effects of such online malicious comments, "Boca" being part 2 is about fighting back but at the same time, as you use hate to fight back, you could end up becoming the thing that you fighting against as online comments and words could be a double edge sword, or as the MV depicts, a double edge arrow and words you use could end up shooting yourself back or the earlier verse in the rap where Dami (the one with the deep voice) raps, "a killer that protects you". It is about saving both the victims of such comments and also at the same time, saving the "haters" and making them see the light (and hence why "waste time on hate" and "going to change your mind" as what the lyric say).

They earned more points than everyone else on The Show, but they then gave Dreamcatcher enough negative points that a different group won by 11 points. Small tangent, one of the Big 3 labels with huge audience-drawing groups and tons of industry clout really doesn't like Dreamcatcher's label after they tried to use their clout to screw them and got sued, but that's probably totally unrelated to where the negative points came from.

OTOH, The Show might have been swayed by that Chinese company, they do have contact with one other Big 3 label, and were looking to invest/spend money in Korea, so a little favour would have meant a lot for them... The most telling factor is that The Show refused to offer an official response to explain what happened. They always issue an official statement to explain what could appear as an irregularity, even reversing trophy attribution in some cases. But that time, they kept their mouth shut... That is not a coincidence... Smart guilty people know that sometimes it's better to stay silent. Long story short, we were robbed, no doubt about that.
Dreamcatcher was the first girl group that I ever got into when it came to kpop and that is heavily due to the rock influence in their songs. The first song I heard was Scream and it blew me away. Dami's deep voice - I'm always intimidated, but very much in love with her 😂 Hope to see more reactions to them because they are underrated and very talented! ❤️

Dreamcatcher is not like a any other girl group in kpop because the base of their music is rock and metal, they mixed up with other genres mostly EDM and now Moombathon. Everyone always think like they sound like an anime intro. Their concepts are always powerful and meaningful. Fun fact: Their producers are the same producers of Ateez.

Welcome to the Dreamworld! Whoever recommended Dreamcatcher to you did you a great favor. 😊 They are monstrously talented and beautiful human beings on the outside and inside. They definitely deserve your attention. You were right about Boca, it means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese and is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy, which deals with bullying and hate comments, in particular the online variant ("A trick behind a mask, a ridiculous freak" from Scream). Boca has the line "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome! You should definitely react to Scream, since it's part 1. And part 3 comes out this month on the 26th!

Some info about the group Dreamcatcher are a 7 member girl group but one of them didn't participate in any comeback last year as she was in a Chinese producer show for Scream while for Boca she got stuck in China due to the pandemic They debuted on 13 January but before Dreamcatcher, 5/7 of the members were part of a group called Minx ( debuted 2014) but they weren't successful with the group so the company redeubut them adding two members Their genre is rock but their b-sides are gold they have jazz, edm, r&b, trap, funk etc

This Dystopia in their world is a world where "freaks hidden behind masks" wound people, aka "online bullies bullying others annonymously", these are words used in Scream (part 1 of Dystopia trilogy). There is a line in BOCA, "Why fill up your precious time with hate?" at 5:54 in this vid, asking this question to these bullies. Another line at 6:04 saying "Too many angels dying now", refering to the suicide cases in the world due to cyberbullying, with the most prominent cases in the Kpop industry, Jonghyun, Hara, Sulli being the most infamous.

The Dystopia series that started with Scream and goes into Boca is about hateful words/comments, they're telling the people who spread hatred to stop or they will find their mouths locked up forever. (Yup, Boca is the Spanish boca.) Dreamcatcher are about to have a comeback next week on the 26th with Odd Eye, and we're expecting more epic sounds as they finish up the Dystopia arc and now they're complete again! (Their Chinese member, Handong, went to China at the beginning of last year to take part in filming Youth With You, and then Covid happened. She just returned to Korea in October after travel restrictions were lifted, so she couldn't be a part of Boca either.) Yes, this pretty much is Dreamcatcher telling their haters and trolls to shut the FFFF up. This was part two of their Dystopia storyline. Part One is called Scream, and it is every bit the banger that Boca is. PLEASE check that one out, I SWEAR you will LOVE it if you liked Boca at all.

It is can be more complex than that. It is a continuation of "Scream" (part 1 of the Dystopia MVs) and forms a social commentary against online hate and malicious comments etc. While "Scream" highlights the effects of such online malicious comments, "Boca" being part 2 is about fighting back but at the same time, as you use hate to fight back, you could end up becoming the thing that you fighting against as online comments and words could be a double edge sword, or as the MV depicts, a double edge arrow and words you use could end up shooting yourself back or the earlier verse in the rap where Dami (the one with the deep voice) raps, "a killer that protects you". It is about saving both the victims of such comments and also at the same time, saving the "haters" and making them see the light (and hence why "waste time on hate" and "going to change your mind" as what the lyric say).
That part when Dami is rapping is everything!!!

They earned more points than everyone else on The Show, but they then gave Dreamcatcher enough negative points that a different group won by 11 points. Small tangent, one of the Big 3 labels with huge audience-drawing groups and tons of industry clout really doesn't like Dreamcatcher's label after they tried to use their clout to screw them and got sued, but that's probably totally unrelated to where the negative points came from.

(again, for anyone looking for a fight or people that are easily triggered, I'm strictly talking about Management level shenanigans, nothing to do with the other group members, they look totally adorable and are talented).
OTOH, The Show might have been swayed by that Chinese company, they do have contact with one other Big 3 label, and were looking to invest/spend money in Korea, so a little favour would have meant a lot for them...
The most telling factor is that The Show refused to offer an official response to explain what happened. They always issue an official statement to explain what could appear as an irregularity, even reversing trophy attribution in some cases. But that time, they kept their mouth shut... That is not a coincidence... Smart guilty people know that sometimes it's better to stay silent.
Long story short, we were robbed, no doubt about that.
Dreamcatcher was the first girl group that I ever got into when it came to kpop and that is heavily due to the rock influence in their songs. The first song I heard was Scream and it blew me away. Dami's deep voice - I'm always intimidated, but very much in love with her 😂

It's worth noting that there is a member missing for most of Dreamcatcher's 2020 activities; Handong - a member from China - was stuck in China due to Coronavirus travel restrictions (her hometown as listed on her passport is Wuhan and, as a result, she was unable to get a ticket back to Korea for a really long time). She's now back promoting with the group and recently took part in Dreamcatcher's online concert.

Dreamcatcher is not like a any other girl group in kpop because the base of their music is rock and metal, they mixed up with other genres mostly EDM and now Moombathon. Everyone always think like they sound like an anime intro. Their concepts are always powerful and meaningful.

They definitely deserve your attention. You were right about Boca, it means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese and is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy, which deals with bullying and hate comments, in particular the online variant ("A trick behind a mask, a ridiculous freak" from Scream). Boca has the line "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome!

Dreamcatcher are a 7 member girl group but one of them didn't participate in any comeback last year as she was in a Chinese producer show for Scream while for Boca she got stuck in China due to the pandemic
They debuted on 13 January but before Dreamcatcher, 5/7 of the members were part of a group called Minx ( debuted 2014) but they weren't successful with the group so the company redeubut them adding two members
Their genre is rock but their b-sides are gold they have jazz, edm, r&b, trap, funk etc

Hell yeah Sara it's about Dreamcatcher telling online haters to shut their front doors, mouths! This Dystopia in their world is a world where "freaks hidden behind masks" wound people, aka "online bullies bullying others annonymously", these are words used in Scream (part 1 of Dystopia trilogy). There is a line in BOCA, "Why fill up your precious time with hate?" at 5:54 in this vid, asking this question to these bullies. Another line at 6:04 saying "Too many angels dying now", refering to the suicide cases in the world due to cyberbullying, with the most prominent cases in the Kpop industry, Jonghyun, Hara, Sulli being the most infamous.

The Dystopia series that started with Scream and goes into Boca is about hateful words/comments, they're telling the people who spread hatred to stop or they will find their mouths locked up forever. (Yup, Boca is the Spanish boca.) Dreamcatcher are about to have a comeback next week on the 26th with Odd Eye, and we're expecting more epic sounds as they finish up the Dystopia arc and now they're complete again! (Their Chinese member, Handong, went to China at the beginning of last year to take part in filming Youth With You, and then Covid happened. She just returned to Korea in October after travel restrictions were lifted, so she couldn't be a part of Boca either.)
Dreamcatcher is the only K-pop girl group to use rock as their core sound and they use two of the same producers that Ateez does. Check out Scream so you can at least be up to date when Odd Eye drops!

Siyeon's name is pronounced she-yawn, it's just an awkward transformation from Hangul into Latin letters.

@@sarasacarra43 Happens to everyone. Every si- from Korean stuff is going to be "she". It gets worse. In Latin letters her name is Lee Siyeon but there's no L at all in her name in Korean. G-IDLE (also worth checking out btw) has a Chinese member whose name gets spelled Yuqi there's no Y or Q; she calls herself "oo-gi".
