    Calculates and executes a video shooting session that involves the moon and an old tower on the horizon on a cloudy night (that looks amazing), and then rushes to pack up and drive an hour away to capture a to-the-second shot of the ISS passing in front of the moon. Epic. 'Glad I caught this video.

      @@AlynWallace Amazing. This is the video which has convinced me to create moon backed photos of my children. Would you share how you predicted the ISS transit and location? Also your composite transit photo was from individual exposures or pulled from video frames?

    Absolutely fantastic work, well done Alyn. I stumbled on this while researching which 150-600 superzoom to invest in. I completely forgot about the lens research and got caught up in your enthusiasm and excitement chasing the moon. Keep up the great work

    I have had this lense for a few years but have shot probably 20 images. You've inspired me to go out tonight and shoot the night sky. Crescent moon, Saturn, whatever is out there!

    I can’t fathom what’s necessary to be able to work out how these coincidences occur, but what a result!

    Funny vid, loved it! I just got ine of these Sigmas for my RP. First night, took a handheld shot of the moon, cropped it and stuck it on IG. Got some great feedback for a simple shot. Looking forward to some cold nights this winter with it...

    Sublime footage on the importance of planning and... good gear :). Just bought the Sigma 150-600C and I'm using it on a Canon EOS90D. And got some awesome moon shots with it, some of them in cooperation with the 1401 TC at 840mm. Looking forward to using it for bird and/or wildlife photography as well...

    Amazing. Wonderful work Alyn. I am a MOON imager and I have been capturing full moons since Nov 2016 so I can understand your feeling of moon covered in clouds and then suddenly cleared out of clouds.
    It happens with me a lot. I had to drop some official visits just to take a picture of full moon to not break the streak 🙂

    Hahaaa - I know the feel for the ISS - been there done that... missed it a few times because of heavy clouds... so i totally get the driving, the waiting, the internet clock timing... and then bham frigg'in clouds... lol - but i did get it once and was very happy with it... I videod it though as I feared i might miss in the bursts... but my next attempt at photographing it had clouds... gonna keep trying! Awesome vid!

    I have a plan to use about 6,4 km from me and my subject, Is that too far ? Tks so much!
