I love this pattern so much! I am a not-so-confident little past beginner crocheter and I was able to make multiples of this pattern. I went and bought the written pattern off of the creator's Etsy shop so I have a hard copy for years to come and it was 1000% worth it! Thanks Briana!
the most thorough yet easy to follow guide I've used! have even managed to finish a project in just a few hours - thank you for taking the time to make this tutorial. The stocking is beautiful :)
When I was born my great great aunt made a granny squares stocking for me and I’m now 50 and my mom and dad still use it for me. 💜 I looked up granny square stocking and ur tutorial was 1st. So glad I clicked on it. I’m making one for my son, hubby and furbaby 🐶then for me 😂. Ty for the tutorial and I subscribed to ur channel. I’m so thankful 😌 ur channel popped up 1st. Hope u and ur family have a very Merry Christmas 🎄
I have bought the Granny stocking collection.. So pleased there's a tutorial, just wanted to check I'm on track and I have learnt the Stsc. Excellent clear and steady instructions. Thank you so much. Love your designs 👌👏🥰
For the toe (I'm only 5 minutes in...): When you come to the end of the round, after slip stitching, are you putting the stacked SC into the same stitch that you slip stitched into? I can't tell if it's the same one or the one next to that.
Hi, I have a question about your written pattern vs your video here. In the first round on the heel, in the video you say we have 44 sts, but in the written pattern it says 48. And the second round goes to 18 hdc instead of 20 like the pattern says. Is there something I’m missing 😭 I know it’s not a HUGE deal, it just messes with my brain a lot
The stacked single crochet doesn't leave gaps in your work as a chain up two or three does in the beginning of each round. I used the standing double crochet at the beginning of each round. It also works out great.
Mine does NOT look as coned as yours does. Mine is more like a bowl and my stitches are perfect, my hook is the same and my yarn weight is identical. Also….i work inside out….so leaving my tails to the “inside” is making a mess of my finished “outside”. 😐 I’m following u to a T. This is a mess
I’m a beginner Just reviewing the video before I start Going so fast Maybe the next video could be a little slower And reviewing the stack single crochet a little slower each time you do it Talking and crocheting so fast ! Thanks

I really like this but for a lefty it's not working out 😢
Hi! For each stocking how much wool do you use? Especially the 2 tone stocking you are holding at 24 seconds

Ca you tell me why you do the stacked single crochet instead of a double crochet.
This is a good question- not that it bothers me, but it is a very good question
It doesn't leave gaps in your projects

A bit fiddly finding the right stitch on the heel section
Agree. After my 4th stocking, I think I almost have it down. :)

I’m a beginner
Just reviewing the video before I start
Going so fast
Maybe the next video could be a little slower
And reviewing the stack single crochet a little slower each time you do it
Talking and crocheting so fast ! Thanks
Just use the settings to slow the video down... she can't cater for everyones different speed tastes.
