I think that I would have told the crazy dude to stay in the closet. The police is on the way and let the police handle it.

Trying to clear the house at all is dangerous, and depends on circumstances. Even this guy, who has some training, made mistakes on his cold run and got himself shot. If you're alone, stay in a bedroom, cover the door with your gun, and get 911 on the phone. You are up against an unknown number of adversaries whose capabilities you do not know.
Obviously this changes if you have kids or other loved ones in the home that need protecting.

"Cover" is generally understood to mean something that provides some protection from incoming fire. "Concealmemt" means something that makes me harder to see. Doors and walls give some concealment, but no real cover.

You have to treat every situation that you are out gunned, out skilled, and out numbered. Doesn't matter your level of training, if you get cocky you get dead. His first scenario shows a young guy ready to scrap. I'm an old Marine with gobs of training, both in firearms and H2H - I ain't scrapping shit I'm putting holes in it or containing the situation.
