- Can UFC Fighter Jorge Masvidal handle the G-Forces of an Air Force Fighter Jet? We invited him out for a day with the F-22 and F-16 Demo Teams to experience the ride of a lifetime.

The F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team performs precision aerial maneuvers at airshows across the world to demonstrate the unique capabilities of the world's premier 5th generation fighter aircraft. The team also performs with the Air Force Heritage Flight Foundation to showcase modern day fighter jets flying in formation with World War II, Korean, and Vietnam era aircraft.
The team is stationed at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, Virginia. In March 2007, the team participated in its debut air show at Tyndall Air Force Base. Since then, the team has performed more than 250 demonstrations across the world.

The neck muscles on the pilot must be crazy. That dude is looking all around while the MMA star is pinned to the seat!
If he is not MMA star, body has being highly trained. Air Force will not do such intensive maneuvers, normal people will pass out.
And I truly feel the pilot is super confident with passenger’s body condition. He gives all his respect to him with high G force.
Not necessarily crazy neck muscles. Just economy of motion.

You get used to it, but def feels like you've lifted weights after. Takes some time. It gets really hard when you're doing BFM and your trying to break lock and twisting backward to see where the bandit is.

Eh, I get the message but at the same I can't put an Air Force fighter in the same category as "each and everyone of us". These guys are truely elite at what they do and are not who the regular joes should be comparing themselves with in terms of talent in a motivational talk.

Remember watching this guy fight on Kimbos backyard and to see him now with the air force is so freaking unreal. You never know where you end up with a determination. Good dude.
He’s amazing. Not wasting any experiences. Dude came from the roughest areas and hasn’t let fame corrupt him. He’s seeing so many different aspects of the world and life and has stayed humble. New favorite athlete.
Jorge looked like he was KO'd for a bit of that lol. Looks like it was fun though, best time ever.
I felt the same way, humbled after my incentive flight in the back seat of an F-15E Strike Eagle. Even though I worked on multiple aerospace vehicle weapons platforms over a 22+ AF career, that flight not long before my retirement made me feel so blessed to have been a part of putting sorties in the air for so long--I still miss it! (except for the 12 hour shifts that usually went over 12 lol)
The F15 is still one of my favorites. Thanks for ur service

I think that was "the merge". Where both fighters pass each other head on to initiate the fight. They'll both start turning hard immediately to gain advantage over each other.

Can't imagine how physically tired he would be after that experience. A ride like that would make most people throw up their lunch, curl up into a little ball and pray for it to end.

I flew with the tiger moth and the pilot did all kinds of tricks, most part i was like this feels awesome. Then he did some move that made me sick instantly, but i didnt throw up, he asked me if i need a bag, i said yes just in case, and i was holding it on my mouth, but managed to not puke. Felt still sick long after the flight.
That is some experience. I'd do anything to be able to fly in one of those

Government: You need to go through expensive training and hire a CFL while going through the books and obtaining flight hours to fly a 2 or 4 seater.

I received two incentives rides in an F-16 many years ago and like you I'm a sim pilot. With your "DCS training" you could fly it would out a problem if it was already in the air.. Now employing it as a weapons system and landing is a different matter. You would 100% die trying to do either.

Fighter planes are so sick, what a cool job. There are some videos I recently watched on RUclips of people on the ground filming low flyby shots and some of the the jets were supersonic, just insane to see. The sonic booms are crazy I can’t imagine standing there in real life and experiencing it.

@@yuvimoi3065 Well, export Su-30's get exposed by old legacy hornets in the Malaysian and Singaporean Air Forces. Sukhoi's are way faster but the mid to low range performance the hornets make them more than a handful to deal with.

@@SuperGeronimo999 well, if were talking dogfighting, its all about tactics and strategy. To know not only your advantages/ disadvantages, but your opponents as well -- Mistakes kill. Electronic warfare is all together different, and usually not involved in red flag operations, or this given scenario. There's a channel on YT of a US flight instructor that was sent over there to train their pilots. He gives objective assessments with video footage of his engagements with Su-30's. If interested, I can find it for you.

You hear about the gen 6 plane they just tested. Think it's going to be a ramjet/turbo jet to get over that low/high air intake velocity problem at different speeds. That thing will be like a rocket.
