  • I have a passion for music and machining.
So, I made a music video with machining content.
In this video I make a 120 teeth gear for my Weiler lathe.
This gear is needed to make imperial threads.
The music in this video is composed by Edward Grieg and played by me using my fatty fingers, Oxygen PRO49 keyboard and Reaper DAW.
There is no speech or machining sounds on this video, just the music.
I recommend using headphones or good quality loudspeakers for best audio experience.
    In this video I use:
    - Weiler Matador SV (1972) Lathe
    - Schaublin SV-51 (1955) Milling machine

Just for curiosity, did you ask from Weiler how much the spare 120 gear would have cost?

I did not ask and I do not have the faintest idea what that would cost. However, this gear is nothing unique so it would be possible to buy a stock gear and make it fit. Probably would need to machine the center hole and thickness to correct dimensions.

@@FinnoUgricMachining yes that is an option for us who don't have a luxury of owning gear cutting machinery😊. Do you have good source for stock gear supplier, and do you want to get rid of that second 127?
