S23 plus is the best phone I have ever bought (770 USD in India) as my last phone was OnePlus 7 which had a terrible battery life , I was getting 4-5 hours of SOT but after your suggestions I am getting near 6-7 hours of SOT after charging till 80%,I try to only charge till 80% to save battery health for future.

I am sure as the phone ages it will become less and less, mainly because the battery will get older and apps might become more demanding on the older hardware, but that shouldn't be for at least a few years, in my opinion.

I bought regular s23 a week ago. I am getting 9-10 sot if i let the battery drop to like 10%. So it's around 10% per 1 hour of screen on time. Others say they get less tho from what i read so idk, maybe i just don't do that heavy tasks on it.
If I could choose just one hack to extend battery life, it would be using a battery limiter (I use Chargie). It would just help me maintain my charge to 20-80% limit and then I'd continue to do using the phone as is.

I do have to add that on most days I start charging my phone at around 20 to 30% so you could potentially get more screen on time, but you could get less if you have higher brightness, less black on screen etc
It might be able to for sure. All my previous Samsung devices lasted 2 years with nothing wrong with them, so I assume they would last 3 to 4 years easily

My A50, which I had for almost 6 years prior to getting the S23 was a TANK. if the charge port wouldn't have crapped out, I would still be using it. This S23 is probably only going to be a single year phone. The battery is teee-rash.
The battery of this device is incredible even without trying to improve it. But for some people they want to get more out of it and none of these reduce the performance of the device except for power saving mode

I recently got an s23, and it never has charge at the end of the day even with normal day-to-day utility use when I have 85% safe charging turned on. $800 and this is what I get. I am disappointed. I still use my old Oneplus with warp charge even when I have an s23 lying around and only carry it when I need a better camera.
@@anishshrestha8146 go old school with slow charging at night and take off the 85% cap. You can do this automatically with the Routine settings. There was some rumors that future update charging process will make it so that charging rate changes during the night to make it 100% by the time you wake up. With this it won't be topping up at 100% constantly.

Lite mode makes no difference really, and when playing games it uses full power so no worries about performance

I would suggest having a look in the battery settings to see what is draining your battery as well as your battery health

@@Jacqie i use my phone from 80 to 20% cycle and generally get 3-3.5hrs of SOT on iPhone 13.
