- Which Quest 3 games have mixed reality or augmented reality? Meta said that in 2023, there will be over 50 apps that support mixed reality. Here are 31 Quest 3 mixed reality games, including adventures, puzzles, artistic tools, and productivity apps.
What is mixed reality?
Mixed reality games let you use apps and play games in your space. Instead of defending a fictitious base, you're defending your home! If someone is shooting at you, you can duck behind your couch!
Quest 3 makes this possible with 2 features: a detailed 3D color passthrough camera and a depth sensor that can map your surroundings in 3D.

Yuki has a new MRCade mixed reality mode.
I believe there's a mixed reality minigame in Asgard's Wrath 2. And GravityLabs supports color passthrough. Space Dragons also has color passthrough. Ther are also a bunch of App Lab apps that have mixed reality tech demos.
imagine playing TRIPP with the quest 3 and the ceiling cracks open and then a small blue light orb appear and you have to focus on it breathing in and out and as you do that the walls slow start to shatter and takes you in completely

Great editing! Best video out when it comes to the AR part. But seems most vr influencers/reviewers don't seem to care for AR. I think vr/ar combined is the future!

Yes there are over 50 as mentioned in the presentation at the end of the video. This is not an exhaustive list. But some of them I don’t have a video for.
Puzzling places
Also sidequest has a lot of mixed reality apps. Ok some greater as others. But seeing most games available with mixed reality in this video is a great idea. Especialy people who aren't trying vr again because a cardboard rollercoaster game 6 years ago made them sick. This is the best way for newbies to enter ar/vr.
I immediately thought of Silent Hill 4 - The Room with that hole in the wall.

Could you imagine playing call of duty zombie with friends in a large house. Hope some big titles gonna get developed for this or will they still aim for quest2 for the big money instead. We see.
That would be so awesome! I think despite its cost, many quest 2 buyers would buy quest 3, so it would be worth supporting mixed reality. 🤞
@@360vroomersi just watched the cruecast live stream. 200 viewers ok mostly adults. And allmost all gonna buy the new headset while they own a quest2. Nothing against quest2 (ok still a facebook product bahahaha) but i hope it sells better as quest2. Developers go were the money is and bigger better games are coming sooner otherwise we have to wait 1 a 2 years.

Spatial is not in the app store?
Not yet. I think because they are still polishing it. But the developer has several games in the meta App Store so I’m sure they will eventually publish it in the Meta App Store. For now it needs side quest. www.resolutiongames.com/spatialops#Download

There’s an attack on titan game coming soon but it’s vr. I think a 3rd person view game in mixed reality would be possibly and could look really cool 😀
I don't see how that would work. MR games have to be relatively slow moving or even stationary

Sounds like you might want Onward or Pavlov. Spatial Ops is another possibility although the field is much smaller.

Maybe a newbie question....what means "mixed reality" games?
Hi Wiljan. Mixed reality means you see your surroundings such as your living room and you see virtual objects in it. For example, a virtual hole can open on your ceiling and robots fly into your room.
Games where you use the buold in cameras to project games or board games or digital items in your actual living room/real life. Prettt cool. Can play like board games with multiole people in the same room with a headset on
