It is so lovely to see you back Katie and to see your adorable little person. I love all your makes, like you i love to knit and sew. Thank you so much for brightening up my days during this strange period in time. Take care and i look forward to seeing you each month x
My daughter is now 40 , and I used to make all her clothes , dresses , dungarees, etc , now one thing she was very keen on at the same age as your Posie , was shoulder bags so I used to make her bags with the scraps , which she loved , and into them would go all sorts , I used to take her to work with me , and she would have her packed sandwiches in her bag , so just another idea for you with your scraps thanks for sharing x x x
my goodness, she is so adorable. I don't sew clothes any more (gave it up years ago) but I have two baby granddaughters who need all the knits, so I'm enjoying your suggestions. Enjoy this bonus time with your family, and stay safe.
I just found your channel today, and oh my - it brought me so much joy. Thank you for sharing your fabulous projects, and especially for sharing your precious Posey. You brightened my day!
Your matchy-matchyness is so so lovely! And those panties with her matching dresses!! Love love love. Your weekender is all things cozy. Everything. Love it all. Sending you and yours the best of health.
The matching jumpers are lovely. Such cute designs for your matching dress and pants. And yes, I imagine that by the time she's 13 or so, she would be mortified to think that your knickers match her dress, lol, but, as long as you don't show her friends, maybe it won't matter. Take care, enjoy yourselves.
I in England i in East Sussex i dont mind i live alone so its fine its not for ever change for every one all over the world love sent to you all out there stay safe. Great video
I’ve just rewatched this, and I have to say I really miss your podcast!! 😢you are so much fun and I love your creativity and craftiness. I know with two small children that time is very precious right now, so I just wanted to let you know that I’m hoping we get to see you again in the future! 💗 much love and Happy New 2023 to you and your family 🎉
Thank you so much for sharing a glimpse into your life and being a calming presence during this most turbulent time. Seeing how much Posey has grown and your "Matchy" dress/pants combo makes me smile 🙂 Til next month.
What a lovely episode! Posey is so adorable and looks like such a happy child! Thanks for bringing some soothing footage of Scotland, craft time, and Pusey’s cute smile to my day!
Posey is so precious and expressive! She really is growing so fast! It is so great to catch up with your life every month. This new format is just wonderful
Ohh don’t forget to keep those smaller pieces of fabric for bunny, and doll blankets, and quilts! Those kind of things can be put away later for the children in little Posey’s future life. Even the smallest of pieces can be used in little crazy quilts for perhaps a Dolls house... ❤️
So good to see you! Love the cardigan for your Mother. All the dresses are lovely and you can't beat it when they are basically free. I made most of my girls dresses and other outfits when they were young. I also made a memory quilt (wall hanging size) using fabrics from my maternity tops and some of my girls favorite dresses. My girls are grown now, and it's still one of my favorite projects I've made, all from our cloths. Love seeing you and Posey in the matching sweaters! Take care!
Posey is absolutely gorgeous. I love your matching sweaters. I agree you could make underwear for her too, although you could make summer nappy covers to match her dresses for spring and summer. Your mum's cardigan is looking beautiful. I hope that we can all get to see our families soon too. Hopefully the isolation period wont last for the rest of the year.
This is absurd :D :D :D I hunted you down! I finally found you :D You see, I was an avid reader of your vintage blog and although you suddenly disappeared from it I kept missing your content. Many years ago I stopped reading blogs altogeher focusing on university and other hobbies, but today, sitting in my self isolation boredom I thought of my favorite blogs from the early 2010s and how they were such a big part of my life for some time. Today - I think for the first time in 6,5 years - I logged into my blogspot account and started checking each and every blog on my list (177 of them!!!). Many dont exist anymore, some stopped posting years ago, very few remain active. So I tried finding and following everyone on instagram - my personal content-reclaiming-adventure! I knew I would not find an instagram link or anything on your blog because I had already checked for it a few years prior. But today I was determined to find ALL of my long lost blogging favorites! And low and behold I ended up finding them - except you... Its crazy to see were everyone is at now. Some of the authors are mothers now, some changed their styles and passions, others seem to be untouched by time completly - it is so nice to get to check in on everybody and it makes me nostalgic in a way. So I kept wondering about you and if you had left your digital content endevors behind for good or if there was still a chance of finding you out there in the world wide web. SoI kept looking - quiet frankly I stalked the shit out of you - but I am harmless I swear ( and maybe just dumb for not finding you through maybe obvious links who knows) :D . Anyways - now my dusty old blogspot account can officaly retire! My instagram glows with new and at the same time quiet familiar content. Sorry for the long post and bad english. I usally never write comments, but I had to celebrate finding you! That seems to be my life now during selfisolation - stalking online people for hours and hours on end :D So thank you for still being here on the internet creating content, I am sure I will like it and am looking forward to explore your insta and youtube in the future! PS: ... and on behalf of my blog-investigation --- I am just missing one more blog !!! so if someone nows what harriett henderson and aimee hall of the "Bright young twins" blog are up to (publicly of course) - please let me know. I am to tired right now to keep on searching/stalking ;) Have a great month and stay healthy everyone :)
I'm so glad you mentioned you love big underwear! It might be TMI to some people but we grow up being told that big underwear is horrible to wear. I love big underwear! It's so comfy but I also feel like it makes me look better than the more skimpy underwear because it hides my tummy better!
Thank you for that. You brought a little sunshine into my life. I only see my grandkids on the screen too. Your little girl is so adorable. Your mom must be going crazy not being able to cuddle her. Let’s hope this all will be over soon. Keep safe.
I thought I recognized that cat! It's nice to have found our channel. I found your use of scraps helpful. As a new aunt, I am not always sure what I can do or make for the little one when birthdays and holidays come up. Thank you for sharing your makes.
I love your projects! I LOVED seeing the video with Posey. She is adorable and growing so quickly! 18 months already, seems like just a few months ago we were waiting for her to be born. It amazes me how many projects you get done in a month. I look forward to seeing your new podcast each month. Take care and stay safe.
I found your podcast a couple months ago. Love it--you are so calming to listen to and so creative with your makes. Your baby is so precious and loved the last bit of video with your family. :)
I ADORE this new format and it is so wonderful to see what you are up to these days. :) Oh and BEST PANTS EVER! I also sew my own and bras as well. I started because I just couldn't find the quirky ones of my dreams. :)
Got very confused because 'its not my cat' is starring! But as you were visiting Amy Florence all is clear. Will continue watching as you are new to me. ☺
So wonderful to see your beautiful face, your podcast brings me so much joy! I have been planning to start the Belmont this week, very excited to see you had the same plan. I am knitting mine out of white angora and I have some antique buttons that I picked up in a second hand store. I love the beads, not sure I am ready to make that jump yet, maybe I will knit another with beads. Stay safe, this too shall pass..
Oh Katie, you are such a joy. Thank-you for a wonderful podcast. I really like the format that you’re doing. Hope all is well with you and the family. Stay safe. ❤️
I have just discovered your Channel & have subscribed😊 I thoroughly enjoyed listening about all your crafty adventures🤗. Posy is absolutely adorable! Thank-you for your inspiration!!!
The weekender is fabulous. I have just completed one for myself in my own hand spun yarn and it was a dream to knit and am looking forward to wearing it. Love all your sewing - you are so talented with all you do.
Glad you are all safe and sound. You and Posey looked absolutely adorable in your matching sweaters. I am also a fan of big comfy pants. I know that all this is hard on everyone. It's funny we all want a long break form work until we are forced to take one. I fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how you look at it) work for an essential business and I still get to go to work. Hopefully sooner rather than later everything will be back to normal.
The sweater you're knitting for your Mum is so beautiful; she will love it. And, thanks for showing how you added the beads...I've always wondered how that worked. Posy has to be the best dressed child in your town, and she really looks like Emrys, I think. Looking forward to seeing you next month. Stay safe and well. Patty
You cant beat comfy underwear, just think once Posey is in pants she will have matching dresses and pants!!!!😍😍😍😍😍 lovely in all this madness to sit with you and a cup of tea xx glad you are all staying safe xx

I look forward to your next episode! X
Love the dragonfly beads. Your mom's cardigan is being made with lots of love. Love the Yo Mama labels and the faded sweaters. I want to learn how to sew underwear too.
When I saw Amy’s carpet I thought I’d changed podcasts by mistake! Thanks for showing us how you added beads to your yarn- I want to try that some day. And I make all my undies, and they are definitely high waisted with “boy shorts” legs. Yay for being able to make what we want!🥰
Hooray! just sittin and finishin my belmont that has been languishing for 2 years! Its truly fabulous and Ive longed for it to be finished! My plan is to sew a hinterland dress and combine with my Bella. such a combo!
Posey is adorable. I love Fife. I haven’t been there in about 40 years or more. My mother’s family is from there. My great aunt ran a sweet shop. Your makes are fabulous. I love you are making your pants. Glad you are all well.
When my older 2 children were small, I sewed a lot of their clothes....when I added their twin sisters to the mix, that ended quickly as we went into survivor mode...haha...they are all grown now and I have only been knitting about 8 years now...I wish I was a knitter when they were small....I shall have to wait for grandchildren to knit for now. Thanks for sharing your life....wonderful MAKES!
I love big pants too. I cannot lie 😂 Those little weeny makes are heart achingly adorable. 😍😍 I have similar thought on all the 'free time', but I am making the most of the moments I get to create. Take Care. Love your vlogs so much. Gabrielle

You are right Katie. Make the most of your captive audience. I have 4 boys who are all way too cool to wear hand knits now.
The matching jumpers are lovely. Such cute designs for your matching dress and pants. It would be sweet if you made Posy a little doll/stuffy/lovey with some of the left overs, with little outfits. Or maybe a ragdoll out of the scraps.
