I see you no longer work for Barr Nunn. however, listening to you i can understand why .. You don't particularly care for night driving, and you were running the Northeast. I don't work for Barr Nunn but I run the Northeast. To maximize your money each week and have less stress . You need to run the NE at night. end of story
Can you tell me if Barr-Nunn is a Forced Dispatched Trucking Company? Also, what is the starting pay for Company Drivers wanting to transfer over to Barr-Nunn? Thanks. Stay safe out there Driver.
I worked for Barr Nunn back in 2015 and everything you said, was what I experienced…except the night driving. I was 99% 4-5pm till about daylight. I pulled about 85-90% Amazon to UPS hub, or UPS-UPS…all time stamped. I also did a lot of relay loads, in which I picked up at 4-5pm, drove out my time, and met a driver who got to sleep all night, and they were starting as I was ending…7-8am lol. Wasn’t bad though. I ran mostly NJ, Eastern PA, NY, CN, and MA. Parking in the evenings would be few and far between…But at 7-8am, I had my pick lol. Good video!
yeah Knight Transportation does sliding scale too...still dont make any money on the shorter loads due to the time wasted at shipper/receiver, especially if live load or unload.
@@BigRigJeffro The best job I’ve ever had! They take care of their drivers! Shift pay and practical mileage pay along with breakdown and hazard part are the best there! 10/10 stars I highly recommend them!
I am no longer with them. They are a great company. If driving at night is no issue would be a very good choice. Feel free to call me if you would like and we can discuss
@@ashendoski in 2015 I brought home (after taxes and benefits) between $1,100-$1,500 a week. Plus we got a $600 safety bonus (before taxes) every 90 days. And that was in 2015. So I’d say the pay has went up since then.
😅😅😅😅😅
How many miles you doing a week ?

How do they pay teams? Like lead driver stuff or do they pay both drivers? Do they run to Canada, and if so does that require vaccine?
I wish more you tubers would jump right in the subject like you did. rather than talking about how their day went and so forth
I understand. Thanks for watching.
@@steveinatruck6403 You are welcome

Do there trucks have optimized idle or can you idle them?
Sorry for delayed response. Yes most trucks have opti idle. On my truck they disabled, so my truck will idle until I turn it off.
