An incredible story with Kevin Hart as the head of a "gang of thieves" who has no qualities and why he is the boss is unknown...
The Interpol agent (which, by the way, is now in London and no longer in Lyon...) of course became an agent because a valuable work of art was stolen from her mother. Who hasn't experienced it themselves in their family...
The “tricks” are an outrage and, to put it diplomatically, you as a viewer feel like you are being taken for a ride...
In the end the question is:
"What was that now?"
This movie was… a movie! That’s all… that’s all I have…

I can't get into this imaginary hacking kind of heists. If it was smart and realistic, I would be on board. I just never liked these kind of movies. Even Hackers annoyed me and I'm not even a professional, but they were acting like everything was so easy to trick.
Yes, what a convoluted plot.
A Rick and morty episode basically did this, heist movies are always so convoluted and over the top with plot twists out the wazoo.
I really enjoyed the Lift movie. It had several twists and turned very good at the end. Light popcrn movie worth watching. Kevin Hart and the lady agent were enjoyable to watch. The high tech plane was also interesting. An NFT art is a fad and not worth much though, but the movie still fun with good acting.
Yeah it’s the tried and true heist movie but I still think of The Italian Job, Oceans trilogy, Fast Five.
It was decent. I enjoyed the ride, was it a work of art? No but it isn't bad as a popcorn movie. Solid C.
I had just watched Berlin, an excellent Spanish heist show on Netflix when I watched this so it was hard not to compare. This movie started off really well. For the most part, I enjoyed it, as it was meant to be a light caper film. It just became unrealistic with the last plane scene, where after all the chaos, they walk away with not even a scratch. But, you know, entertainment 🤷🏽♀️
its a kevin hart movie.... he always falls in love with a light skin woman etc etc I forgot the other standard actress who he always teams up with is... but she wasnt in it.... + she is also british LOL

I couldn’t get into it. I kept waiting on Kevin to do something funny, I don’t care for him playing serious roles but I guess the little I seen was ok

I enjoyed it. This is a good one to watch with the family when you’re all stuck inside for a night. Kept me interested the whole way. I doubt I’ll watch it again but I do enjoy it and would recommend to anyone

I saw them doing stuff but they didnt explain shit as to WHY they needed to do it. Anyways this really annoyed me so thank you.
I couldn't even get through the first 30 minutes. I really like K Hart but the past 4 or 5 movies have been bad.

I know people want to say that people are hating on Kevin Hart, but this has nothing to do with that. I am a very unbiased person. I can look at a situation for what it is and honestly I just do not understand the chances given to Kevin Hart with Netflix in his past few projects all of them have rated five or below out of 10. It’s your money Netflix? I’m just saying I don’t get it. Somethings off when it comes to trying to bring him in as a pull but OK 🙄 and this movie Lift is a perfect example of that it …..just does not work with him in it!

I cannot stress enough how much Kevin Hart is overrated and brings to substance to any movies he's in.
