He claimed he heard the shots from his house and said the guy who shot John recognized him as he was walking down the street in the neighborhood and they exchanged words a few days before the murder.
Walls & Bridges was part of his lost weekend. He did not record it while living there. In fact,it was recorded in LA. Mind Games, Sometime in New York City, and Double Fantasy were the albums he did while living there.

The Dakota was truly beautiful. But I think he should've stayed in England in hisTittenhurst Park Mansion. I liked that better. Its private. And it hopefully would've kept John alive 😢
