This is too short Should have finished the 3rd crusade in one video But a v nice video Muslim writers argue that after the surrender of acre Richard brutally executed the prisoners without any reason… they dont write about a deal in which ransom was to be paid by saladin…that makes more sense since already his army was at acre there was no point of buying more time by stalling payments and plus he didnt have problem with money either… I believe it was a message sent to saladin that he would run things different… since negotiations only worked at the last moment when richard knew there was no other option since he had to head home.. he wanted to win by fighting

He was hoping to undermine Conrad's authority at Tyre - which did happen to some extent - but for Guy to rebuild an army and attack Acre - that the sultan did not figure would happen

Ive seen your video - I'm surprised you haven't gotten dinged for using images directly from the Netflix series
"My precious"
hahahaha
This is too short
Should have finished the 3rd crusade in one video
But a v nice video
Muslim writers argue that after the surrender of acre Richard brutally executed the prisoners without any reason… they dont write about a deal in which ransom was to be paid by saladin…that makes more sense since already his army was at acre there was no point of buying more time by stalling payments and plus he didnt have problem with money either… I believe it was a message sent to saladin that he would run things different… since negotiations only worked at the last moment when richard knew there was no other option since he had to head home.. he wanted to win by fighting
Its done on podcast format - I'll combine all the third crusade videos into one as well
May I ask what the song at 19:19 is called? :)

@@FlashPointHx lol nice one.
I LOVE YOU
Thanks my friend!
Really LOTR?
hahahaha - not a Tolkien fan?
@@FlashPointHx On the contrary, just surprised by the quote mining.
@@dda40x1 I was watching LOTR with my son, when I was writing my notes for this. It just meshed at that point.
FIRST BABY LETS GO
Yes sir!
Just crazy how people's lives were defined by this war, fighting an enemy for years on end. Just nonsensical
Dumbest move by a general i ever heard.. saladin releasing guy of lusignon…god knows what was going in his mind… but that doesnt make sense in any way or angle.. unless he never thought another wave of crusaders would come… so that was the whole reason behind third crusade becoming some sort of a victory to crusaders…dumb move and good thing he paid high price for it… almost all of gains were reversed
He was hoping to undermine Conrad's authority at Tyre - which did happen to some extent - but for Guy to rebuild an army and attack Acre - that the sultan did not figure would happen
Damn,Your new videos turn me on.
hahah - ahh thanks!
