- Massive week this week. First off i hit 500 subscribers which is such a fantastic achievement and I feel so proud to hit that number. I really want to thank all my subscribers for helping me hit this milestone. Speaking of milestones. This video is also my 100th video on my 1 year anniversary on RUclips. So I felt that it would only be right to do my Movie Room tour. I'm a huge fan of physical media as u can tell by this video. I really hope you enjoy it and thank you all again.

WOW Keith. What a collection. My friends in Denmark call me a film king, That title is yours all alone, i can tell you never before have i seen such a huge, great collection, and that`s 2 years ago. My goodness this is so awesome..
Believe it I'm not James but that room does not exist anymore. It has changed completely now. The room is still there but it mostly holds all of my DVD collection. It looks so different to what It did in that video. I actually had to buy another room because my collection was getting that big. The room that I'm sitting in in my videos is actually down the back of my garden

Yes I'm definitely well aware of them and hopefully someday I'll get around to picking them up. There's so many out there that I still need to get. I'm doing everything I can to try and pick up the Evil Dead remake bust but unfortunately they're going for mad money. Fingers crossed someday
I'm not sure if it's still available but I think I paid around €130 for it. It is a phenomenal looking bust

A awesome collection you have, nice to see many mixed genres of movies in your collection.
Many collectors editions of busts, my fav being the Alien bust, very eye catching in my opinion, that Basket case edition looks cool relaxing on the shelf ha, ha.

I like your figures too,I get what you mean by them keeping releasing them with different poses.i have one hot toys figure of Stan lee,about 16 iron studios 1/10 scale statues,I think there's about six in the line I don't have but one of them is another thanos with.a new pose 😭 and six 1/6 scale ,with Jean grey,poison ivy,Catwoman,rogue,gambit.it kind of cheers you up though collecting things based on movies you love?those walking dead statues are awesome,don't have any of those,I stopped watching it around season 7 but might get into it again at some point.
The amount of people that told me they stopped watching the walking dead after season 7 is amazing. I stopped watching them myself after season 7. Unfortunately it's 1 of those shows that doesn't seem to know when to quit. Yeah unfortunately the marvel figure collection started to become a bit boring unfortunately. I might revisit it sometime in the future

No unfortunately was done before the pandemic which is a shame because I would had a great time putting it together over the last year.

Congrats on all 3 Achievements Keith amazing collection you have, Didn't realise you have a large DVD collection as well as Blu Ray and 4k, some of your editions are quite rare as well. I'm sure you will get to a 1000 subs in no time. 100 videos as well alot of hard work has paid off, I have just started and beginning to realise the work that goes into producing these videos, mine are nowhere near the high quality of yours but I guess you get better as time goes on. Thanks Matt for the kind words. There really is a lot of work that goes into maintaining a youtube channel. Don't worry about the quality of your videos. This is all a learning curve and things will definitely come a lot more natural 2 u in time. Sure look at my earlier videos compared to now. Looking forward to your next video. You have so many good busts. My favorites are Dawn of the Dead, Ash vs Evil Dead, Shocker & Resident Evil. Very jealous of all those. I'd love to see a video focusing on your steelbook collection covers sometime. I id one about a year ago and think it will be annual thing for me.

I have seen a lot of your collection and trust me when I say u have nothing to be jealous about. Yeah the fly collection does come in a telepod. That was the first gift I received from my fiance. Will definitely do a video on it someday. I would like to do a video on my steelbook collection but that will b definitely done in parts. Yeah it's amazing 500 subs and its because of yourself and Sean helping me at the start that got me here and I'm still so grateful for the both of u.

I actually have a bunch of DVDs that have had some sun damage too, it seems like some of the printing on these releases are more uv durable than others. Thanks for the tour!

I'm new to your content and love this tour thank you. Any suggestions for good 4k players, we're using our x box for now. Also I would love to be able to view US editions, collect Criterion etc
Thank you so much for coming over to my channel and of course for leaving a comment. I use a Panasonic UB820 and in my honest opinion it's probably one of the best affordable 4K players you can buy. Don't forget every 4K disc is region free so so you won't have to worry when it comes to buying from the US unless you're getting Blu-rays. Believe it or not I've only just received my first 2 criterion editions. I need to pick up a few more
@@millerman9991 ah thank you. I was wondering that, so as long as I stick to 4K from the USA, not regular blu ray they will be ok to play in our x box? Then we can look to upgrade, though I wonder if the UB820 has a noticeable difference to the x box? I guess I am fed up with the controller lol and just want a regular play button. Can't wait to get Silence of the Lambs 4K from Criterion!
Yes once you stick to 4k whatever country you're buying them from your going to be OK. They will play fine on your Xbox. Honestly in my opinion there will be a significance difference if you did purchase the Panasonic player. It has so many bells and whistles to play with to improve your viewing experience
@@millerman9991 thanks, hmm can't afford such an expense right now given the Xbox does play the, but will keep an eye on sales. Think we may be able to in the interim try to add extra speakers to our LG soundbar as a small upgrade.
I think at the end of the day if you're happy with your Xbox then stick with it. I've heard good things about the player on the Xbox as well. Like you said maybe someday a sale will come along and fingers crossed you can pick one up
Great collection! My Star Trek The Motion Picture actually has a really nice hard slip case. Still different from the rest of them though. I also have those large clunky Star Trek boxes for TNG, DS9 and VOY which takes way too much space but they're nice together!

How many 'movies' do you have? Do you use software like DVD Profiler?
The last time I counted my collection was a few years ago. It was on a little over 7000 titles at the time. I don't use any software.

A great collection,love it!it's an expensive thing to be interested in though,I have around 700 blu rays and some of them were upgraded from DVD's and now I've upgraded some of those to 4kuhd 😭 the only dvds I have left are great expectations and the time machine because they weren't released in other formats.
Thanks Mike. It's weird but I just can't see myself getting rid of all the doubles I have in my collection. Im a collector true and true and it just doesn't seem right to get rid of them. I'm sure it will have to happen someday when I run out of room. But I've been running out of room for years. I keep finding space.

It's amazing what a year can do to a movie room. Yeah I have a decent DVD collection. But it really isn't my focus anymore. Yeah I forgot to say that was every series of Star Trek ever made. Original series, Generations, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and Enterprise. Took to many years to collect. Yeah Ellen held the light for me all during that video. You get a little cameo of her legs. This was the hardest video I've ever shot and I really hope u got a good sense of what my room is like. Thanks again John for checking it out. Really means a lot to me.

You didn't let on how many individual items nor did you give an approximation of how much your collection might have cost you. Probably might need to rectify that. RUclips isn't for the faint hearted.
Why do I have to work out the cost of my collection or work out how many individual items I have. It's a room tour.
