Great tour. Can you recommend hotels, airbnb.? I'm planning a trip there and would love to find a cozy place.
Sure! I stayed in an Airbnb called Casa 14 that was very central and walking distance to everything. It was small and quaint with a shared courtyard. There were plenty of lovely-looking boutique hotels around town as it’s a quite popular getaway for domestic travelers!
Thanks for the tour....What month did you record this? Seems pretty quiet...not a lot of people in the streets....
It was May or June. The beginning of the video was quite early in the morning specifically so there wouldn’t be too many people out and about! But later on in the day there were more. I would say festive, but not overcrowded.

In my opinion, no. The vibrancy, the culture, the colors, the food - it’s unmatched. I’m sure you can find some hidden gems in the states but it’s not my usual stomping ground, so I wouldn’t be the person to ask!
The assault to the Alondiga de Granaditas is usually described in heroic terms in Mexico's official history books, but the truth is quite different. When the rebels broke in they murdered at cold blood all the Spaniards that took refuge there, even the women and children. Dozens of innocent people perished that tragic night.
