    Thank you for this! Can you do a tutorial on how you make the pieces clip together. How do you 3d model the parts to fit together and be separated for the print!? I see everyone printing their models in multiple pieces instead of whole. But i do not know how to model the puzzle like pieces to be printed accurately.
    Thanks again!

    hey Dave! Could you make a video showing how to hollow out a 3D sculpted object and leave a wall thickness?

    • @drugfreedave
      @drugfreedave  8 месяцев назад

      Sure! I just do that in the slicer software, I use lychee. I check the option to hollow and you can set the mm wall thickness to whatever you’d like! 👍🏾

    hi! :) nice job , as always :D Which 3D printer would you recommend for such work?

    • @drugfreedave
      @drugfreedave  8 месяцев назад

      I've only ever used one: Anycubic Photon M3 Premium. So far so good, but I think they're all pretty good these days once you figure out the quirks of your individual machine/resin etc!

    I see a lot of people use nomad for resin. I got the p1s just purchased nomad and wanna learn it. Will it be ok with fdm?

    • @drugfreedave
      @drugfreedave  Месяц назад

      I think once the model is made, it prints the best the printer can do.. I don’t use fdm, but pretty sure you just print the correct file type and it’ll work!

    lets hope they add a few more features for 3d printing to nomad so one day there is no need to use blender... wouldnt be that hard i think...

      You already don't need Blender for printing.
      The STLs you export from Nomad already work for printing.
      The main reason to export to Blender is for materials and lighting, as Blender's Shading/Materials editor has greater functionality than Nomad's. Blender is where you take the sculpt so it can look its best online, but you don't need to take your sculpts to Blender from Nomad to print them.

    • @drugfreedave
      @drugfreedave  8 месяцев назад +1

      I don't use blender, I just plop the files down in slicing software (Lychee slicer) you need to slice in order to print! (no need for blender)

      @@SkipperWingso you can easly print the .stl file from nomad? Grazie! Send it to the slicer as chitubox?

    • @SkipperWing
      @SkipperWing 8 месяцев назад

      @@silviamancini91 I use Bambu slicer for my printer (Bambu P1S), but before that I was learning on Creality print and Cura Slicer, and it was much the same, so you should be fine sending the STL to Chitubox.
