I admire your positivity. Never has "my wife kicked my hobby room out of the house" been told more positive ;)
Seems like an upgrade to me. Or it will be soon!
@@RobinHoodBricks I'm sure it will be awesome - looking forward to your updates
@@RobinHoodBricks Why is it in the garage? I personally am starting to like jacobs bogies, they are okay, I HAVE AN IDEA, build a bigger central train station, have a shunting yard and even a workshop to uncouple carriages that have jacobs bogies fitted!
Hahaha... fantastic Robin! Hat's off to Mrs Hood for letting you go all out!
She's one in a million!
0:08 I have never seen the city layout like this from way back! Wow how far its come and will go with this new space! I'm so excited for you (and me to see the development of Brick Nottingham 2.0!)
Yeah that's the whole history. The current room is number three, each better than the last!
The packing! The stacking! I can see it all now
Hey have you been looking at my plans!
I love going back and rewatching the old vids and seeing the progression of the city
You should. Everything has its own video and every building (ish) has a full interior!
I cant waitttttt. Ive been watching this series scinec the pandemic and its one of the best Lego channels in yt of all time. I really live ur videos and it means the world to me.
Awww that's lovely. Well it's a big new chapter to enjoy!
Wow! Looking forward to this!! Small tip: if you haven't done so already, get yourself some rubber weather strips for the bottom of the garage doors. They'll definitely help to keep the elements and debris out.
There will be a new wall there!
Cant wait to see it grow.
Me too!
No telling what amazing things you can do in a bigger space!
It's up to 75% bigger I think!
you're one of my favourite lego youtuber =] i'm quite excited and happy to see brick nottingham entering a new era of awesomeness,,
It finally answers the question of running out of space!
And that is only the Entrance for the Super Secret Special Underground Lego Room because Robin hired Colin Furze fulltime
Haha!
I’m very excited for the future of Brick Nottingham love your videos and your interesting ideas keep up the great work Robin, See You!!!
Thanks a ton. See you!
loads of space!! enjoy building MORE AND MORE!!
Looking forward to it!
So exciting to see, been here since the 1,000 subscriber mark and haven't looked back.
You deserve a medal, haha!
You can fit so many Fairground Fridays in there!
That area might need to grow, yes!
I just love seeing those "old" cities... all those buildings which you already created before the channel but got upgraded in the course of the years... btw I've been following you since the early days and you're the only Lego channel I still follow after all this time... many of the other channels are more about how much money they have spend than actual brick building... Looking forward to the 2.0 city
Yeah, it was nice for me to reminisce as well. The pictures were really bad quality, haha.
Yeah I can't keep up with those big channels but, since I don't watch them anymore either, I can just focus on my hobby in my own way. Much better all around!
I almost didn't believe it, but I think that is true and I'm all here for it. 🤩
You'd better believe it!
What a great space and no more worry of eviction ! Can’t wait to see it all unfold. Don’t forget to give us the bloopers too when you move 😂😂good luck.
I'm hoping there won't be any bloopers, haha. But there probably will be I guess!
wooop woop, looking forward to all the videos you''ll treat us with!
Me too!
1. Spiders
2. Cold
3. Hot
4. Damp
5. Mice (electrics) bad
Garages in the UK are really tough spaces, no insulation, single skin walls, massive draughty doors. I really hope you'll be protecting the Lego properly! On the flip side, massive, open space for yet more Lego. Genuinely looking forward to watching this next development... though my initial thought was that you'd had a loft conversion... maybe that's Brick Nottingham 3.0?!
1. Builders, 2. Insulation, 3. Radiators, 4. Carpet. Should be nice!
@@RobinHoodBricks Great to hear you’re doing it properly. Maybe Brick Haul O’Clocks might take on a different dimension whilst the build takes place?
@@RobinHoodBricks perfect I’d hate to see good Lego kept in sub optimal conditions! I knew you’d have a plan!
!! your knees! I can't imagine crawling to standing holes without padded carpet. that concrete looks hard!
I will be getting carpet. Insulation first!
Great trailer!!! I can't wait to see start of Brick Nottingham 2.0! And will you put "2.0" to your long name on the daily bugle building in your city?
Haha, probably not. It's fairly long already!
Good luck moving everything! I love your work Robin Hood Bricks! I can’t wait to see what you’ll do with this extra room!
I will do my best!
Wow, that's quite an upgrade! Looking forward to seeing how BN2.0 develops!
Yeah, you only live once so I'll give it a go. If it means we get the spare room and my office back then it's worth it!
Great stuff. Can’t wait to see Brick Nottingham 2.0
Me too!
This is gonna be packed and stacked in no time, and we wouldn't have it any other way 😊
You know it!
This is going to be exciting to watch. Can’t wait for the new city layout and build.
Yes, another five years!
Wahooooi!!! So much packing and stacking in store!!!! I cant wait!! Congratulations!
My thoughts exactly!
Looking awesome! Some preparation needed I guess, but generally looking spatious! Will you keep the garage door as-is? Or will you cover them somehow?
Also, will you move the city as-is or will you make a new layout with the existing buildings? Or will we just find out? :)
All will become clear. As for moving stuff in, I don't yet know. Some bits will definitely stay unchanged as I love them but it's a good chance to improve and reorder!
That is so amazing!!!! I can’t wait to see what you accomplish in this new space!! Congratulations! Well deserved!
Woot the garage!
Forget those cars. Who needs cars?!
Why put one or two cars in your garage when you can have a lego fleet of cars in there instead.
Oh heck yeah, I was expecting something more April foolish hehe
Exciting eh!
Building a entire new city from scratch. (Is what I would do but I understand and respect that you wouldn't do that).
I'll do a bit of both!
🥳🥳🥳 We all know you’re going to make it awesome 😄👍
Thanks, Kim. I'll certainly try!
Bravo!!!!!!! looking forward to the new journey! Congrats!
Yeah, I planned the last one for ages and now I've got a lot more real estate!
😭 😭 so proud and excited for you - from Venice California
Yay, thanks Will. Exciting times. A bit daunting too!
Oh and some more trains that you can find that might look good on your new layout! Please I subbed and liked this vid
Welcome!
@@RobinHoodBricks 👍
All I’m hearing is more awesome Mocs to fill the space, yes please!!! Robin you are a national treasure, and I’m not even from the uk 😂 keep going man.
Wow, thank you!
I hope you plan a good access method if you have surounded viewing holes again. Maybe one of those low sliding carts for working on a car. Moving builds, equipment and yourself around the space is best to keep in mind. Don't want to throw your back out or have a fall.
Haha, not a bad suggestion!
This place is huge!!!! I bet you could fit 2 full size cars in there!
Just!
Congratulations on the move! A total pleasant surprise to be sure
Yes it is!
so, relocating just down the road. Does this mean it will be Brick Derby?! Heaven forfend!!
Sacrilege!
i hope to get that far one day
Good luck!
Haha how good is peer pressure! Great work on the bigger space, can’t wait to hear all about the process and everything you had to do to get there, building work can get quite stressful so we appreciate all the effort you’ve gone to mate, this is gonna be awesome!
Ooo sounds good, looking forward to your video Robin 👍
It's a short one to tantalise!
This video trailer contains so many details - even the first city looks amazing, and how many great details you’ve revealed that have flowed into the city we all currently know and love.
However, what heights is this new amazing space going to reach? The journey to great and greater quality is awesome.
Good luck with the brilliant new space and the timing to reveal to Mrs Hood that you’re not only keeping both spaces but the automatic garage door openers shall be used for even greater expansions in the future.
Looking forward to it!
The garage is getting properly converted into a functional room. Yes, each city grew and developed the ideas of the one before adding more levels, details and scenes!
@@RobinHoodBricks Fantastic - we look forward to it all. Gives a whole new perspective on Brick Haul O’Clocks too.
Great move to make more use of your existing space to avoid moving.
Nice! 2 car garage should be around 400 sq feet (not sure what that is in meters) of densely packed and stacked space. Lots of room to grow! Congrats to you and us viewers! 🎉
I'm hoping to get a desk in there for build videos too. Get my office floor back!
That looks as a very nice big space!!! Cars out, some good insulation, hopefully for you some heating and cooling system, nice floor and off you go!!! Looking forward to see how it develops!
I thought you would be expanding your current room, but never mind! The garage looks so much bigger and I can’t wait to see the eventual start of Brick Nottingham 2.0! It’s a win for the channel and a win for Mrs Hood who gets the room back!
Expanding that room would've lost another room whereas this gains one!
@@RobinHoodBricks Even better! And when this one is too small, expand it 😂
Let's Start Building "New Nottingham " Good luck Robin Hood!!
Many thanks!
I love it!
A car free lifestyle means having was more space for lego, haha!
We have one car but it doesn't get used a lot!
bricksie 2.0 :):) no.. but what a space... jalours :)
I'm glad mine is at home. So much easier!
Imagine if the door we see here is the other side of the one we already know closed since forever in the City 1.0... 👀
How do you have convinced Mrs Hood to let your Lego addiction grow beyond the borders of the Lego room ? Time and persuation ? I believed it was a strict condition back then !
Good luck with this incoming new world to build !
Holy moly that's going to be epic! Better start saving your rubels for all that monorail track your going to have to buy. 😂 I can't wait to see wait to see the new city!
Yeah I'm running out of cash, haha. More of everything needed!
Good to hear. I look forward to see what's coming next!
More to come soon!
Brilliant...looking forward to all the shiny new conte
Woohoo can't wait. Going to be awesome 👌
Hope so!
I'm doing the Kermit the Frog excited dance right now! WOO-HOO!!🥳
I know the one, haha!
Awesome, really nice for you.
Will you make background colors like the sky so it dosen't seem all white an bland. Have seen other youtuber do it, really gives somesthing extra to the city ??
What about heating ? Not a problem in the winter time ??
Sorry my bad english.
It will be brought fully into the house as a proper room!
Smart putting it in the garage so when you outgrow the space you can just open up the garage doors and expand into the driveway!!
Erm... oops. Too late for that!
Hurrah! Can't wait to see how the remodel comes together.
Me too!
@@RobinHoodBricks Garage conversions can be quite wonderful.
WOW that will be a very nice home for Brick Nottingham 2.0
Sorry car 😂
LEGO > car!
Hope you might have plans for an alien cantina in this newer bigger better city
I always have plans. I just never do them. I'll really try here though. A big one for all my aliens!
Have to admit... when I heard the drums, I couldn't help thinking of Col. Sandurz from Spaceballs saying, "Mega Maid." 😀
Somehow your channel dropped off my feed (even though I'm subscribed), so when this trailer appeared mysterious, I was intrigued. Looking forward to seeing what happens next (as long as The Mighty Algorithm - and my memory - allows it)
That pesky algorithm, grrr!
@@RobinHoodBricksit can get pretty annoying when one has a hectic schedule!
You are going to build brick Derby a city to rival brick Nottingham. But in this city all the stuff you hated to build
That would be a chore, haha!
0:37 My wife said: "I need this room!"^^
Haha, she can't have it!
Nice!! Can't wait to see the RR expansion 😁
Awesome 👏 can’t wait!
Me either!
Wow 😮!! First look at Brick Nottingham 2.0! What will happen in here? I guess we will find out in the future!
Also in the before RUclips city I saw a cable car could you add that in? 🤔
JJ F
I've had a cable car idea for the current city for ages but never done it for want of a good site. Before it was across the river next to the two bridges but three crossings together was a bit weird!
Harbour, you could have used the harbour, Robin, to fit it in.
O well, who cares, it's cramped full already and the new city is almost here, you are going to need to take down the spacestation, wonder if that means, you are going to increase it's size or not, you know.
It will be fabulous!
More train track for a start!
@@RobinHoodBricks It gets better and better...
WOOOO!!!! HERE WE GOOOO!!!!
Ooooh yeeeeah!
@@RobinHoodBricks I’m a big fan of the channel! I really enjoy you working on the under the sea cabinet. I have one of my own full of vintage sets 😂 Good luck with the BN2.0 operation. Be sure to post some of that process. Thanks!
Oh and could you make a baggage car for set 60337 high speed train to go in the middle?
Difficult with them all being double deckers now!
If this ends up being an April Fool's thing...
Fooled you!
Are you serious
LOve the introduction :)
These tiny videos sometimes take as long as a big one to do. Writing a script and timing it to the music!
the suspense!!!
Suspense no longer!
Robin, I’m so excited for you.
It's going to be epic.
Sure is!
0:20 Is this the original city, or was it a temporary one, since I see so many builds in it that you covered in detail but the layout doesnt match up to your current one😊
It was what I cobbled together before deciding to do it properly and start a RUclips channel. Yes, some ideas were added to or recycled from that first city!
@@RobinHoodBricks thx, that answers why I saw so many builds that I reckognized😊
Yeh, all well and good on that Robin. But where are you now gonna keep the Porsche 911 Carrera RS and the Aston Martin DB5?
(found your channel today from Jang's. New sub here!)
I know, right? These are problems we just have to struggle with in this life. I'll ask the butler to park them!
Can I ask you to buy the horizon express X2 for full train and customise it to your liking? + Can you buy the emerald night and build custom cars and tender and make changes that you like? Thanks!
Wow, they're both very expensive now. Have you seen my Trains playlist as I have five passenger trains ready to share a bigger track!
I am really looking forward to this! Are there any plans already on what to carry over from the current city?
Not yet. Accurate final dimensions are needed first!
So this is or real(and accidentaly posted on april 1st) or well,.... APRIL FOOLS?
Totally for real, my friend. I'm not clearing the whole garage for a quick joke!
@@RobinHoodBricks I know, but the date makes it kinda "sus". Good luck with transfering the city to the garage(i know how it can break, trust me :) )
thats awesome, hopefully the doors stay closed though.
They will be fixed shut!
Maybe a weird question but... do you want any help rebuilding? I recently moved to Nottingham, and am trying to get my own city going. I'd love to both get involved in the reconstruction, and also learn a thing or two I can apply to my own build eventually. I promise I'm a very normal 33yr old guy, other than the lego infatuation of course...
Bless you for the offer but I really have to do this alone. Most things are in my head and I do LEGO in unsociable hours largely. Good luck with your city!
Gonna need to put in some padding or carpet on the floor other wise your knee's are going to stuffer, plus once you fill this room it might be time to get a studio so you can have all the room.
It'll be fully made into a room!
@@RobinHoodBricks that's good, brickice is still getting his studio ready gonna take him another two weeks at most, can't wait to see how this one turns out.
In a shocking plot twist robin is going to face reveal as Johnny Wilkinson pack up the Lego and move to the new Lego room in derby
That would be good for 1st April!
Is it bad I kind of want a resin project with broken bricks somewhere in the new room?
Watch out for Homer driving home each day from the power plant :)
Haha!
I hope this isn’t just an April fools joke because that sounds extremely exciting!
Congratulations Robin 🎉 🎉
I wish you the best of luck for your new Lego room so you can build a newer, bigger, better, futuristic and awesome Lego city in the UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
🏆🏆🏆🎉🎉🎉🥇🥇🥇🎆🎆🎆🎆🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎉🎉
Robin the number 1 best Lego creator in the whole entire world 🌎
Wow, high praise there, haha!
Wonderful sir
A two minute teaser for your delectation!
It’s the garage….. how nice. Can you hear my sarcasm? Good, that means it’s working.
How big shall it be? If it’s smaller than 10x14, I’ve got you beat.
Now I’m going to ask again, do you need an Airship or an Ocean Liner?
Will there be a narrow gauge railway, and do you need some engines for it? I’ve got some if you need them…. 17 classes of Steam, 3 classes of Diesel, and 2 classes of electric.
And finally, will we get to see what’s been in the closet in he corner of the old room after all this time?
Rockatoa, Brickticks out!
It's bigger than that. No thanks on the designs. I like to do my own!
@@RobinHoodBricks Nice, good job on making it bigger than mine. Also, on the subject of the designs, well, suit yourself. Anyways, I gotta go, I'm expecting some new bricks today around 2PM, they'll be form part of a new narrow gauge steam locomotive. Rockatoa, Brickticks out!
Hoping this is not April fools as I’m so excited to see where this leads
I wouldn't clear the whole garage for a joke. It took ages!
Would have been well played though 😁
Cannot wait…. Well deserved…
😱🤯🤪❤
YAHOOOOOO 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Ooooh yeah!
Is this post "all the noise from carpenters"? Were is all the work?
This was just before they started. More details soon!
@@RobinHoodBricks, that’s great. I was worried for a minute there. Looking forward to the future of your channel. Always good stuff.
oh wow sure do hope it isn’t april 1st
It is April 1st but it isn't April fools!
@@RobinHoodBricks I have failed you master bricks
