This is pop rock, or MAYBE pop punk on the poppiest level. If so, barely. All Time Low really stopped being pop punk after So Wrong It's Right, with some influence on Nothing Personal. Regardless, you're right.

They stopped with Last Young Renegade, but I consider Everything Is Fine pop punk
Anything with electric guitars, bass, etc. is punk. However I gotta agree Don’t Panic is more of a soft punk, and they left their pop punk genre somewhere in The Last Young Regenate

Green Day was booked right before that whole Vegas, Bieber, Rehab deal derailed our plans. We're trying to get them back on and we're waiting for new Blink music in 2014. Would love to have 'em. The All Time Low guys were great. Amped to do the show.

people,it doesn't mean that if you don't play the riffs,you're not a lead guitarist anymore,jack plays the octaves,the one where you only play two strings,most of the time the A and G strings,and about the Straight To DVD thing,I watched some raw video of the actual show here on youtube,everytime jack will not play his guitar nothing will come out of the amplifiers,pretty sure they dubbed the parts that jack didn't play to make the DVD sound better

So those guys playing guitar are for when Alex needs to stop playing to sing because sometimes it's hard to multi-task. It just helps in those times because without it, the song would sound like it was missing something.

Steven Martin No, not at all. You two are both wrong. Matt Colussy was the one that was playing guitar in this video, but Bryan Donahue covers that part now. He's not there to play rhythm whenever Alex's gets tired and doesn't want to play. He plays third guitar parts or lead (Jack's part). You can see in STD that Colussy is playing Jack's part throughout the DVD because he would run around a lot more than he does now and stop playing just because. Other than that, Bryan just plays third guitar parts, not Alex's part.

They're called in ear monitors. A lot of bands use them to basically hear each other and what they're playing when they're performing.
Personally I think Alex has an amazing voice, I can't see how you wouldn't like it

I know which surprises me because the guitar center sound is usually brilliant I think it was the fact they had a third guitar they don't really need it they are all playing the same thing. I'm not just knocking them they are a good band :D
Everyone commenting on the "fake guitar", if you watch closely there is a third guitar player off to camera left. Never really shows his face, just the headstock and neck of the guitar. There's also another vocalist to the back right.

@MrNostalgiaX if youre referring to the riff in the chorus, Jack doesnt play it because he plays he's own thing. And if youre referring ti the verses, im guesing you dont understand the concept that Alex doesnt play majority of the time so Jack has to do the rhythm there, switching to the lead part after playing rhythm would sound extremely horrible thats why Jack doesnt bother playing the lead and has the 3rd guitarist do it.

There is a third guitar offscreen.
The single notes in the chorus were the hardest for me, and the guitars in the bridge. the other guitarist in my band agrees.
Hardly a change, they've been using third guitar parts since The Party Scene. What the issue is, is that the third guitar, which is not played by a band member, is playing the most complex parts. If you need a crew member to play the difficult parts for you, then that's messed up.
That negative comment isn't needed.

3rd guitarist for the lead parts (since jack can't really play guitar that well. Alex records the leads in the studio) And they've had Matt Flyzik as their backup singer for quite some time now

People don't seem to get the concept of that 3rd guitar. Yes, Jack is labeled the "lead" guitarist but he does rhythm actually like 99% of the time. That 3rd guitarist is the actual lead guitarist. He's great. Alex gets to take a break sometimes from rhythm when that guy plays lead and jack like most times plays rhythm.
Actually you can see it better between 2:58 and 2:59 at the left side of the picture.
