I'm so appreciative of Guitar Center for not using pitch correction like every other live session I've heard so far. Alex's voice is just fine the way it is.
It absolutely is pitch corrected. It's not "heavy" but for sure it is, I used to work in a studio for years and that was my sole job. I always tried to make it natural, but even with the best I can still hear Melodyne working in an instant.
Jack plays guitar live every show, they just have the back up guitarist so he can interact with the fans more during live shows. He is talented, as well as everyone- and I mean *everyone*- in the band. c:

theyre new stuff is great, but so wrong its right was a just an amazing album, im glad these guys found so much success, and its great to hear them play their early stuff, dear maria is such a great song
Okay guys quit dissing on Jack just cause he's lazy, just cause the third guitarist is there doesnt mean its to cover his mistakes. Everybody makes mistakes. The third guitarist is present because Alex rarely plays rhythm in the new albums so they need someone to take care of the other parts
Pretty sure that's not accurate at all. His name is Zack and he's the bassist. Jack is the lead guitar and Alex is the rhythm guitar. All very important to the band.

I dunno why, but I like his live voice more than on the studio version.
it may be because they do it half a step lower because his voice has gotten lower as he's gotten older, they should do a studio version like this :')
