Hi Micheal - great review on this. I know it was 3yrs ago but I’m looking at buying one of these now as I find the standard mobile phone gimbals clunky, especially the DJI’s. Furthermore, connecting an external mic on the Osmo Mobile’s I find even more problematic for overall movement of the gimbals.
With that, I noticed you connected the external mic onto the Osmo. Is there an external jack port on the Osmo to connect the mic? I take it from there you link it to the smartphone? With that, I’m using the iPhone XS Max - do you see an issue that phone fitting in the docking attachment you had on the side of the gimbal?

Did you have any audio sync issues with the on board audio or the rode mic?
As soon as I can figure out an application, I may consider it. Anyway, it's a great system for what it is or at least from what I can tell. I think if you had mentioned examples of how this camera may be used, it would be better.

I recently also got this "all in one" gimbal but I need a wider and possibly faster lens to attach without having to heavily rely on the latest iPhone to get the 4k video quality. Any suggestions?

Estou com o mesmo problema. A minha câmera deu esse mesmo problema hoje e não sei como resolver. Tenho 3 baterias e estão todas carregadas e a câmera liga e logo após desliga usei ela pouquíssimas vezes não sei como resolver Raspei e limpei os contatos da bateria não deu certo. como faço agora

Thanks for the overall very good video! I mean... B&W Video Samples are kinda useless... If we should be able to judge the video quality we can't do it proper with B&W Content. But this is not big of a deal.

It is a good camera but it has it’s weak link- the safety cord on the handle. Please check it’s durability because mine just snapped, the camera fell on the ground and got damaged.

Oh I’m sure the new Osmo Pocket is leaps and bounds better than the original Osmo. The quality looking back on it is pretty terrible. I would definitely not recommend buying the original one now days. Especially over the new pocket.

So much disappointed after my purchase this product, video quality sooo poor, my mobile video cam is much better than osmo, still I don't understand lots of noise in my footage and its 4k video

There’s a comma in between 4K and 100fps.....

Yes it makes it correct because a comma implies multiple things in this case features. My video includes both 4K footage as well as 100fps slow motion footage.
So go ahead and do hit that thumbs down and don’t subscribe. I prefer my subscribers to be intelligent.

Audio sucks, constant noise ventilator sound like Boeing... Autofocus is big issue in this and white balance in daylight... Etc... This is a toy...
