Is soldering really necessary and can we smooth the glass by using sand paper instead because its too expensive for me 😢I am very much interested in glass cutting
also, yes. The soldering is absolutely necessary for yhe integrity of the object... if it wasn't soldered, it would fall apart eventually after sun/air + moisture exposure etc if you just glued it. Even if you kept it inside.. though I'm sure there are industrial glues that would keep it together, I'm not sure how pretty it would look.. another plus of the solder is that is looks pretty as well imo. So idk. Good luck though.. there is a lot of information out there about this, &just do your due diligence and be safe! ❤
i havnt watched your videos in a while but coming back to them i shouuld really do it more, they put me so at ease and help me relax and i really apprechiate that
@@mcegypt20 I started doing it one month ago thanks to her info and tips, and I am enjoying it very much! Last weekend finally dared to try this pattern and have been working on it. Looks amazing! I'm so happy! I just have to solder it and I think is a good exercise for soldering long lines. Always wanted to do stained glass and I am so happy I came across this channel, everything she does is so beautiful that it keeps me motivated to continue learning.
Watching this is actually more relaxing than a massage 🥰 Did some of them have bigger gaps between pieces because it was nobbly glass? or was it deliberate to attach the stem holder?
What's the grinding wheel/stand that you use at ruclips.net/video/tzog0xhnJ_k/видео.html? Edit: Nevermind! Found your video covering it! Thank you! ruclips.net/video/cuAqwgEaLD4/видео.html

Great video. Detailed instruction makes me feel like I could do it too. Thank you for the instruction and inspiration.
How does the solder not run off of the lines 👀 I want this to be my next hobby and don’t know where to start lol
The surface tension keeps the solder on the copper - you would have to melt a lot of solder to get it to run off
she got a bunch of tutorials and stuff on her channel!
@@feniaksfirings aaah, makes sense. Thanks!
@@maiadraconica6488 I’m checking them out, thanks!! Do you do this hobby also?

do you make your own jump rings?
Yes! I use pre-tinned copper wire!
@@AmayaJade awesome thanks!
When you are in a stressfull moment, does this heal you? Please answerr
Gorgeous 🥰
Amaya one question how do you not cut your fingers you are holding it bare hands 😅
Do you make your own propagation glass holders, the metal part?
Yes! I use pre-tinned copper wire
Do you wash the finished peas to remove any existing flux?
Yes!
I am your new subscriber keep up the great work
Thank you!
Why not use clear silicon glue to make it seamless? Is it necessary to use a copper file and solder?
Making it seamless would make it redundant to cut all the pieces 😂 it would be a clear egg shape instead of a wing
Do you have a store set with Amazon to purchase the tools you use?
Yes! Here’s the link 😊 www.amazon.com/shop/amayajade
@@AmayaJade thanks!
