Could you do a "tools you need to make stained glass" video? Also maybe a more tutorial-style video? Also, how do you sometimes have the vinyl pre-cut (as opposed to this one where you cut the pattern by hand).
I’ll make some more tutorial style videos! This piece was a larger size panel than I normally do. The cricut machine will only cut up to a certain size so that’s why I cut this one out myself!
I think I stopped breathing at one point during this video, when you were filling the lines. I was so afraid I would mess them up haha. Such a gorgeous piece as always!😍
on a one hand it seems like a lot of work/steps, but on the other hand I crochet, so it is a perfectly reasonable amount of effort to make something cool
I just discovered you today and I'm glad I did. Your art is beautiful and I loved how you kept all your first videos. It's inspiring because I just started my RUclips this year really and I love that I can see your journey in growth on RUclips. Most larger channels hide that. Then people think that success is 1 event, not a journey. So thank you, I wish you more growth in your channel 😊💜
Im curious to know if the soldering would look more uniform if after you were done, if you block sanded all the soldering with high grit number sand paper wrapped around a 2x4 wood block and wet sanded the soldering very slightly just enough to get them at the same height. Pluss it would add a nice brushed aluminium look to it.
i love asmr and i've just finished my glass art course at university, the youtube gods have smiled upon me today. i'll definitely be tuning in for future videos! :D
I seem to be using all the same supplies as you but keep seeing black specs in my solder lines. Have you experienced that at all? Yours are much cleaner than mine. Meaning cleaner silver at the end
Thi looked gorgeouse! your so talented and patient! just a question, what happens if you solder the back first and the the front, for some reasons in my brain, that would look cleaner! but i could be very wrong :D
Curious if the heat glove is any generic kind or specific, and do you wait a while before you clean it? What cleaning mixture do you use? LOVE YOUR VIDEOS THANK YOU SO MUCH :D
@@AmayaJade :-) ... no, I meant at some point in the video you had a desk magnifying glass with your smart phone attached to it. I was wondering which one you have. Thanks in advance
Another great video. Everything is do neat and clean. I love the gadget you use to burnish. It looks like a tool for manicures? I have about 5 burnishers and constantly switch. Hoping to get the feel just right
My favourite is called a fidl stick....I've used a lolly stick, a roller type, a lathekin, a wooden bobbin type, a sharpie....fidl is my go to but ive not done anything for a while. Too busy with house refurb. I watch from the sidelines atm. Itching to get back into it.
Do you print the template on a regular piece of paper and another one on sticker paper? I really want to start but I’m still quite young so I’m just asking for help so I can try it out for the future
Is it possible to get copper coloured lead these days? As the coppered design always looks amazing, but i can't recall if I've ever seen coloured lead used instead of lead coloured lead, if that makes sense
Hola me encanta tus trabajos y tus manos .. quisiera saber donde sacas esos moldes ...alguna página en especial ...puedes darme el dato desde CHILE UN GRAN ABRAZO ❤
That's so funny, I have never thought of using pliers to break up the glass, I've always used my hands or the table. Well I guess I never did any tiny pieces, but that's cool.
Bonjour, J'adore votre travail ! Je pense que je vais bientôt me lancer.. Pourriez vous m'indiquer comment vous réalisez les attaches en cercle pour pouvoir le suspendre ? Merci !

She has a skillshare class.
@@ImAshlynMars I know! I'm excited (I wrote this comment before she announced her skillshare class)
i love the no talking style, just quiet and beautiful work.

Thank you! Luckily it’s easy to fix any mess ups! 😊

i crochet too and i completely agree with you 😂
fellow crochet addict here too! I agree with you as well! :D
Can you do a video on all the supplies and glass that you need to be able to start making stained glass for beginners?!❤
I’m currently editing that one, it will be up next! 💞
@@AmayaJade awesome!!!
the iridescent textured glass is gorgeous!

Thank you so much! It’s been 12 years but it all lead up to this point ☺️💞
More stained glass asmr videos please 😮💨 it's so nice and soothing
Wow! Beautiful!
I appreciate you filming your process for soldering the edges, that part seems very tricky to me!
Thank you! It’s definitely the most time consuming part!
hey amaya! i used to watch your videos since i was in 4th grade! now i’m in college and i come back from time to time ❤ God bless you!
Oh wow, thank you for being here! 💞
never knew i needed content like this
Wow I never realized how much work this took! You're super talented.
Love your video , no distractions like dogs , cats , music , or strange neighbors , straight to the point .
What do you clean your glass with before you foil? Love your work.
I have a question!! What is the paste you rubbed the tip of your soldering iron in?

The fact that I’m watching this in class is relaxing
on the verge of sleeping to tgis is relaxing
Thi looked gorgeouse! your so talented and patient! just a question, what happens if you solder the back first and the the front, for some reasons in my brain, that would look cleaner! but i could be very wrong :D
I like to start with the front first, it seems to turn out better for me!
Hey ! Do u use a mask when making u solder ? Or an air ventilation ? I dont know if I have to invest on it 🫤
I use a mask, open windows & have a fan on, just make sure you always solder in a well-ventilated area!
It turned out great!
Thank you!
Curious if the heat glove is any generic kind or specific, and do you wait a while before you clean it? What cleaning mixture do you use? LOVE YOUR VIDEOS THANK YOU SO MUCH :D
It’s just a nitrile coated glove and I let the piece cool for a few minutes before cleaning. I use dawn soap and a magic eraser to clean!
Do you ever get splinters? I'm amazed that you're doing all that glass cutting bare handed!!!
The ASMR I didnt know I needed
So pretty omg do u sell them
I love these relaxing kind of videos sm
Just curious, but what inspired you to start making stained glass?
I just saw other people making stained glass online and wanted to try it! Then it became an obsession 😊
i love the cleaning part.
Awesome. Love this format! Which magnifying glass do you use?
Thank you! If you mean the mirrors they’re from ikea!
@@AmayaJade :-) ... no, I meant at some point in the video you had a desk magnifying glass with your smart phone attached to it. I was wondering which one you have. Thanks in advance
It’s a canvas lamp! I use it to record videos with my phone (:

How did you make the hanging circles? Or did you buy them?
Beautiful work!
Glass + Asmr + my favorite tools🔥 🎉 i subscribed immediately 💙
I could never go through that box of glass pieces without needing stitches.

What is the spray you use at 14:02? Also, thank you, incredibly helpful & relaxing video!!

this is so amazing. i just wish that you would change 20 21 and 22's colours to a sky blue instead.
Hello Amaya
Are there numbered patterns for sale or do you create them yourself??
Friendships from France
It's so beautiful ❤❤❤🫶.
How long does each piece take? For example, can you estimate 1 hour per piece as a formula, or something like that?
Around 8-9 hours for a piece like this one!
@@AmayaJade Wow! Plus the cost of materials and equipment.
wow beautiful work
Thank you!
Just as your work is delicate and beautiful, you are also beautiful and delicate
❤@@AmayaJade
well come
How do u cut paper like that im so jealous 😭😭 everytime i try to cut with the lines i always mess up no matter how careful im trying to be 🥲
Does not rinsing the soap under water cause any cloudiness to the end result?
I rinse it under water afterwards!
That's so funny, I have never thought of using pliers to break up the glass, I've always used my hands or the table. Well I guess I never did any tiny pieces, but that's cool.
Why is the only place you touch and go solder is on the outside edges. What’s the reason behind that? I’m learning.
The solder only sticks to the copper foil!
Can the soldering be done with copper too?
Do you bake or put the piece in kiln?
No!
this makes me miss art class so much 😭
May I ask how many cameras do you use when you make the vidio??
Just one!
What kind of wire do you use to hang? I can’t get any to solder on
I use pre-tinned copper wire!
Please let me no where you buy your stick on paper.i will keep it to myself. Thanks 😊
I have it linked in the description! 😊
Bonjour,
J'adore votre travail !
Je pense que je vais bientôt me lancer..
Pourriez vous m'indiquer comment vous réalisez les attaches en cercle pour pouvoir le suspendre ?
Merci !
Great work.. thank you
Just figured out while watching this that my perfectionism would have me spending three years on one small stained glass piece 🙃
What did you spray on the glass to clean it? I could not see the name of it or find it listed
It’s wd40!
What does the WD40 do ? Is it not oily then🤔
beautiful, are you selling the pattern
Yes!
Where do you buy glass?😊
Hobby lobby!
there is no sponge on your grinder, how does that work?
The grinder bit pulls water up so I don’t need to use a sponge!
انتي رائعة اتمنى ان اكون مثلك .. ❤😊
Best vidoes
Where did you purchase your jump rings from?
I make the jump rings with pre-tinned copper wire, it’s linked in the description!
Why don’t you try to make a piece with the residual cut pieces? Idk love to see how you can turn them into something new
Can anyone explain why the gold tape
The solder will only stick to the tape so that’s what it’s for!
It's copper foil with sticky glue backing. The solder sticks to it not glass so that keeps your pieces together with the solder.
🎉 🎉 🎉
It would be so much prettier in some of
Your works,if you coulfd keep the yellow-gold colour of metal, instead of the silver one.Anyway they are great.
❤❤❤
Ew subscriber - so pleased I found d you. Great inspiring video 👍
