I Like how no one has a problem with being photographed.... in switzerland when they see you walking around with a camera, they already want to sue you :')
Uhmm, don’t know about Switzerland but in most countries it’s not forbidden to take photographs of people on the streets as long as they’re not underage. I’m sure there are some more scenarios where you are not allowed to take a photo of them but as long as you’re not following them it should be alright. And yea it’s just best not to be a dick about it if someone asks you to not take a picture of them 😁
In Australia you are legally allowed to photograph anyone in a public space as long as you are not using the photo for commercial use. It’s pretty good if you want to do street photography here in Australia and also I feel bad that people want to sue you over wanting to explore and photograph daily life
I like the way you sneak photos of people, act as if you're turning around for a shot of the street then just kinda follow them with the camera to get the perfect walking shot.
I've been enjoying these videos of yours more than others because you actually put the aperture, iso, and shutter speed your using with each picture. For a beginner photographer this really helps get an idea of which numbers they can work with. Keep posting these and I'll keep giving my thumbs up mate!
I'm always interested in how u handle with reactions, are you not shy? what if someone doesn't want to be photographed. what if they get rude? can you tell us more about that?
Dude sick video also you can totally zoom in to check your focus you just have to go in the menu and set one of the function keys to zoom magnification, all I do is shoot manual old lenses on my sony camera
I really like this POV Photography series! And thanks for providing the information (iso, shutterspeed, aperture) of all the pictures that you had taken!
Hey bud! You can actually zoom in to get the right focus when using a manual lens such as this and shooting in RAW, go into your settings, go to section one of photos, then sub section 13, the setting is Focus Magnifier.
Dude you killed it. Nice Film. I‘m using an analog 28mm f 2.8 adapted on my a7ii atm. It isn’t as sharp as my Sony lenses, but it’s fun to shot with. Keep going and have nice one
You know what? I bought my Sony alpha and 85mm because of those POV photography videos you make! Thank you for inspiration Buddy! Greetings from Poland!
Hi mate! You can easily assign a custom button to "Focus Magnify". That, combined with focus peaking, makes focusing manual lenses a feasible process. I assigned a Fn Menu spot to control the Focus Peaking intensity. Hope it helps you! I use this technique even shooting stationary portraits and it works!
Since you like Trolley's so much (you call them trams), you should google "Pennsylvania Trolley Graveyard" and check out a guys collection of old rusted trolley's chilling in the woods!
2DAKE2 it seriously is, I’m trying to wait until fall kicks in a little more and take my crappy Nikon down there. Perks of living only a few miles away!
Hey man! Love the content! Could you maybe do a video on your favorite lenses? Like you favorite lens for street photography, car photography, portraits, landscape pictures. I bought a sony a7 ii and i really could use some advice on what lenses to get.
i only shoot with manual lenses, often do some racing photography with the tamron adaptall 2, 300mm f2.8 107b model, the bokeh that this monster produce is incredible. i really hope that i can make you try it one day, specially for night rainy shots 😃 cheers from italy bro
we had lockdown in march for a month or so. Been living normal life with no major lockdown restrictions in my country since April, I don't understand how Australia still has so annoying restrictions.
Wow just did some googling and your state (province? idk) lockdown restrictions are INSANE. NYC had curfew for 2 weeks back in May/June mostly because of the protests.
I absolutely love your photos. One question though. Why don't you choose a higher f Stop so more of the picture is in focus, like 2.5, and then hump up your iso by a bit, like 500-600. Then your focus doesn't have to be on point and you still get a sharper picture than w f0.95
I Like how no one has a problem with being photographed.... in switzerland when they see you walking around with a camera, they already want to sue you :')
hey, living in zurich and i'm totally agreeing with you:) people stare at me as if they're literally going to smash my camera at the ground or so

@@fsknikolai635 SAME AS UK AND USA. GERMANY HAS SERIOUS RESTRICTIONS THOUGH.
@@fsknikolai635 thanks I thought taking pictures in Australia was against the law, I’m taking street photography too

I live in Melbourne and it goes to show how dead it is when mike can check his photos in the middle of the road

Mike, have you ever been told off when doing street photography for taking pictures of people etc?
Your allowed to take pictures of people in Australia, expect if it’s for commercial use. Then you’ll get told off
@@swiftlemur7853 yeah same here just I meant people getting annoyed that you’re taking their photo
@@tomwhyte I think they’ll just walk away :)
These POV videos is so chill to watch man, please do more 🔥

People out there seem so friendly!!! My area is okay for walking up to people, i should be getting out more to do that !
An umbrella always reminds me you chasing a man with one. Definitely my favorite from your POV videos.
I'm always interested in how u handle with reactions, are you not shy? what if someone doesn't want to be photographed. what if they get rude? can you tell us more about that?
I just love these videos man, these are super fun to watch, its like having a therapy🤯❤
Great video Mike just shows how devastating this virus is . Please stay safe mate stunning shots as always. 🇬🇧
mate, your edits are bangers. I love that high contrast, deep blues, deep saturation look on moody pictures.
When your taken out of your comfort zone that's when you preform the best great video and pics
Dude I love your pic photography. It's just so chill and fun. Keep it up man.
Dude sick video also you can totally zoom in to check your focus you just have to go in the menu and set one of the function keys to zoom magnification, all I do is shoot manual old lenses on my sony camera
Loved the sweeper shots
This is the type of video that I wouldn't mind to watch when I'm bored, it's truly relaxing.
I really like this POV Photography series! And thanks for providing the information (iso, shutterspeed, aperture) of all the pictures that you had taken!
Rainy street photography is so much greater than a dry day
Thanks for putting the disclaimer at the beginning. It’s such a small thing but it goes a long way
Keep up this awesome work mate! U inspire me so much! Thank you for that! Cheers from Hungary, Budapest!
Finally you post a new POV. I can't wait to watch this lit street photography.
So fun to watch photography outside...
freaking love your pov videos
Good shit dude! I know how hard it is to manual focus when doing street photography. It’s fucking hard!
Yay glad you managed to get out and shoot, keep trucking through the lockdown 👍
you can assign a custom button to zoom in for manual focus
it doesnt happen automatically with this lens because it doesnt have electrical contacts
have been waiting this one!

Very nice 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 love photograph wonder art 💕💕💕
16:16 oh boy that was smooth 👀
You should go out one of these days taking pictures with only a polaroid !
Very nice photos!!!!!
The motorbike and shadow at 7:20 would have been a sick photo
love these pov's
Try to turn on Fucus Magnifier next time! This way when you start moving the focus ring you'll have 5x zoom on your subject for a couple of seconds :)
Yes! Exactly lol i'm hoping he sees these comments.
@@pixel_overkill At some point he did say that it usually magnifies but apparently not with this lens...
Where’s haydon these days? Haven’t seen him in a while.
It’s very soft wide open, so maybe bump the aperture 2 stops since that’s when the lens is sharpest
love your pov videos
Amazing photos😻
Your the best mate🤩🤩 Love these kind of videos✌️
Absolutely dope lens!
You're such an inspiration man, keep on going.
U should make books with a ton of photos in them with a theme and sell them. I would actually buy one. Excellent video btw 👌
Since you like Trolley's so much (you call them trams), you should google "Pennsylvania Trolley Graveyard" and check out a guys collection of old rusted trolley's chilling in the woods!

Very nice man I appreciate that’s video. You shot like pic nice 👍
11:02 - That sound is Aquaman speaking with fishs. lol - Great video man!
great work man
Very nice photos bro🤩✌️
The foggy-ness of the POV cam reminds me of an anamorphic effect. I’d love to see some night, anamorphic street photos of an environment like this.
Stay safe as always mike 🤗
very nice shots
It's nice to be able to see the city, even if we can't see the city :(
Thanks for sharing
Most iconic part about Northborders isn't his photos, isn't his intro, isn't his humor. It's his yellow jacket.
The world of photography in this védio ❤️❤️
Dope video as alwaysn

just bought my first sigma lens because of how much you love yours
lmao @16:14 trying to be so sneaky and pretending to set up a different shot when your main subject was that guy walking. I do it all the time XD
