Saw The Last Dance. Then a book about basketball, where Charlie Scott was mentioned. This gentleman is a very inspiring person. Wish you a happy and blessed life, sir.
My dad had me sit and watch UNC basketball with him from a very young age, but when Charlie Scott came along, it was mandatory. He loved him. He'd be shouting and hooting and hollering and saying stuff like, "Did you see that?! Nobody can do that!!" I was hooked irrevocably when my dad infused me with his enthusiasm for Charlie, and of course being NC born and bred, it was a foregone conclusion. Thanks dad, and thank you Charlie! You are a legend, my man.
Charles Scott is the GREATEST UNC Tar Heel of all time! I feel certain that Michael Jordan, James Worthy, Lennie Rosenbluth, and Phil Ford will agree. As for Lefty Driesell, I remain in awe of his nonpariel fluency in on-court vulgarity. No coach has ever approached his creative employment of obsenity. Want to see it in action? Mention the four corners to that old man. :))
@Truth BTold don't you hate when people ask stupid questions like this? I mean, watch the video, or Goggle him for goodness sakes. Some of the younger generation may not know him; I'll give them a pass, but why ask that question when you can clearly see he's a Carolina guy? And yes, he was THE trailblazer...👣👣👣
thank you sir for thanking my uncle Billy Meggett I know he was up in heaven with the Biggest smile when he heard his Name GOD BLESS YOU

Lefty would haven been in the Hall of Fame if Charlie Scott had signed to play at Davidson for him instead of unc.

The NBA is so watered down just about anyone can get in.

I remember when Scott signed a seven year 1.9 million dollar contract with the Suns in 1971. That was a lot of money at that time.

Charlie Scott started out in the ABA league on the same team w/ Julius Erving. He then joined the Pheonix Suns & the Boston Celtics.
@@davidchan9632 He was a badddddd man with the Phoenix Suns. His number 33 should be retired.
