Welcome to indonesia, So..have you tried some variety of 'soto' while you visited to indonesia? because every region in indonesia has a different taste of soto.

you have to taste fried rice,martabak,terang bulan,soto,nasi padang,sate for real sate not sate like that,in indonesia,very yummy!! visit indonesia again.

Hi Natasha, I am glad that you visited Bali, Indonesia. I would recommend you to go to Made's Warung in Kuta or Warung Nuri's either on Seminyak or in Ubud. Nevertheless I am glad that you enjoyed your visit in Indonesia, especially giving good reviews towards Indonesian Food. Yes, in Indonesia prices are cheap compared to the United States. Just letting you know, while in Bali, you should Babi Guling Chandra (Chandra's Suckling Pig) which is by far better than Bu Oka's.
Just giving a few insight about Indonesian cuisine, from Sumatra across the archipelago to Papua, there are LOADS of cuisine that differs from each region. Bali is a popular tourist destination, but to find more about Indonesian Food, you need to go across Sumatra, where you can find simply on of the best Indonesian cuisine from Medan and Padang. Also in the island of Java, you could try a different and much more sweeter cuisine around, especially from the Central Java region and also some unique foods from the capital city of Jakarta, or even the food from the West Java Capital of Bandung, in which is dominated with traditional cuisines. Also in the Island of Sulawesi/Celebes you can find food from Makassar and Manado which is traditionally spicy.
I hope that you may have the time to explore more about Indonesian Food, island to island in the large Indonesian archipelago. I give you my uttermost respect for your reviews towards Indonesian Food.
