- My first video was launched on April 7th, 2018 and it's been a wild 5 year ride. Here's a look at how I ended up where I am now, and the thought process behind everything that went into the channel up to this point.

Congrats on 5 years, Chris! I was your 1000th subscriber and we have been in a credit battle since that day. I just rode Arie Force One for my 650th credit. My 13 year old son Alex has 213 credits. I wonder how long we can stay ahead of you and Sophie? Your channel is one of the best out there and it deserves recognition for your creativity and passion for our beloved industry.
Wow 650 i wont get there til next year at the very earliest. Sophie will pass 200 this summer, not sure exactly where she will land but theyll be pretty close

For quite a few years now, and probably forever… You are my number one go to. you have all those interesting videos and I absolutely adored your Kings Island documentary. Kings Island is my second favorite park so I love seeing all of the history and current stuff. I will be a subscriber forever.
definition of Passion-A strong feeling of enthusiasm or excitement for something or doing something. Roller coasters + amusement/themed park visits are but one on many of my passions. I also do/did photography, videography, storytelling. An artist oft times "suffers" for their work. Some of what I felt was my BEST writing got little to NO responses. I truly LOVE your channel! The fact that you respond to my comments means a LOT to me! I look forward to AstroWorld doc. I played worked+ lament the passing on my hometown park. Fond memories of rides, people, pix and nuts/bolts from the park. The seg in your intro of GPS and the sunglasses dropping, gets me every time!
I’ve been watching since summer 2021 when I rode my first wooden coasters at my home park Silverwood, I started to get the hype behind rollercoasters and I wanted to learn more about them as I dreamed of riding more. Airtime Thrills became one of my favorite channels and still is to this day! I love your documentary videos, the fun predictions of buy or sell, the technicality of by the numbers, and everything else in between. I’m happy to say I’ve been watching for about two years now, and I hope to continue watching for years to come! Happy 5 years of Airtime Thrills!

2020 was a dark year but I was one of those thousands of people who discovered your channel and had something to look forward to watching EVERY day. Video after video, it really helped me through the pandemic. I hope you see those numbers and realize you helped so many pass the time during that rough year!
I’m really glad to hear that the history of Magic Mountain blew up. Videos like that do good for people seeking information. As long as Magic Mountain is open people are gonna love it and be interested in it’s history. I admit I haven’t seen the Kings Island one, but only because I had seen a really good one on it years back.
I dont think anyones done anything on KI as in depth as the one I did, you may have been talking about Riding History to the Limits which covers the opening nicely but thats about it. I'm doing one for Astroworld even though there are videos on that already out there, but this one is about 4x longer and more detailed
@@AirtimeThrills yeah that’s the one. I thought it had some good interviews but yeah it’s pretty old so I’m sure yours did provide more from the Millenium. Still, there’s plenty of space for more docs on these parks. My problem was I saw the first few parts as they were uploaded which had some overlap and just haven’t gotten around to the full doc. I will check it out though since it’s my favorite park outside of Magic Mountain which holds sentimental/nostalgic value.

I started watching you around the time you started putting out those mini documentaries and I was hooked with your videos along side other coaster channels like coaster studios, theme park crazy, and koaster kids. Unfortunately i lost interest in coasters by 2020 and Covid prevented me from traveling for 2 years. during that time I grew up and in 2022 I started riding coasters again from a lost of fear. I started watching you guys again and catching up with what I miss. I hope your doing well with your life as I’ve struggled but finally got back to normal with coasters. Hope the next 5 years will be just as fun as the first. Just like that fall out boy song

I don't remember when I subscribed (edit: found a website that tells you... June 5th, 2019 so not THAT early), but your channel has been a great source of entertainment over the last several years. Glad to be here for the journey. Someday I'll have to meander on over to the Discord server.
PS: People occasionally post links to SUPER old message boards on the rollercoaster subreddit. Old boards from the early-mid 90's when the internet was super young. I think there could be some golden content in looking through what people thought back then.
Thats interesting, i wonder if the volume of people using it would be enough to get a real sense of the coaster scene for the early 90s

i hopped on board the train after you released the year six flags lost its mind and have kept on riding! Your mini-documentaries, by the numbers, and continuous hatred for Skyrush give a different perspective to the coaster community, and I love it! Congrats on 5 years!

Some video ideas I would make, but don't feel like starting a new channel for it:
theme park travel strategies - which parks are near each other, best place to fly in or do a road trip to hit multiple parks at once
and
what makes each park unique, for those who have only been to their home park to see how it differentiates from other parks, and to those who are looking to visit.

Hey I remember when I used to watch you and I would think you where the coolest guy ( you still are ) because you traveled to world just to ride rollercoaster
My favorite videos would have to be the buy or sell. I do love the Kings Island documentary though, course I’m a KI local so I had to watch lol however I definitely would love more documentary style videos that are like a hour plus. There isn’t really any coaster or amusement park documentaries out there. So it would be nice to see more.

This was an epic 5 year ride, I was watching your videos since December of 2019 and you were an engaging content creator. Can't wait for more!
Theme Park Crazy made me hooked to coasters, but Airtime thrills truly got me in to the enthusiast club lol.
For your Scandinavia Trip I'd suggest you get a Tripsdrill season pass. This might sound weird but they have a programm where you get free entry once a year for their seven partner Parks once a year, in Scandinavia they include Farup Sommerland, Liseberg and Kongenpark, you also get the Efteling and of course Tripsdrill for just 125 Euros. I live 10 minutes away from Tripsdrill, so I get my Season Pass every year anyways, but this offer might finally the cause to do my first coaster trip this summer!
That sounds like a great deal, but admission is included with the coaster crew fee so i wont have to worry about it this time around

2 days is more than enough time to ride everything multiple times. Hit Lightning Rod at rope drop. Everything else in the back shouldnt get crowded til later so after riding LRod head back there to stay one step ahead of the crowds
As a home Parker start with Firechaser and Dragonflier at open as those lines get insane later in the day and L Rod is always going to be a full queue no matter how early you get there. It’s entirely possible to ride everything in about 3-4 hours even on a busy day.
