People told me there are less comic books at SDCC in comparison to the past. And i get it with movies and video games there is less space for comic selling booths but they must sell comic books somewhere at comic con right?
The Comic component of Comic Con seems to be pretty much gone. Even if you look at the vendor booths they bring $50,000 books nobody is going to buy. Smaller Cons are the way to go.
Really miss Comic Con. Used to go regularly in the 90's and for 8 years between 2007 and 2015. Stopped in part due to relo to WA state but more so due to the level of popularity. On regular days it can be very difficult to see much of anything without hours of line waiting or pushing through people on the floor. Curious to see your Friday and Saturday vid to see the crowd sizes. Enjoy. Comic Con was my annual highlight.
Same. I started going back in 1983 and went almost every year till I left Cali in 2010. The crowds did get more intense over time and the sensory overload was real. Even still, I miss it and hope to go again one day. I miss seeing all that artwork.

I think people don't realize the scale of SDCC and how even if you don't have a pass you can still feel a part of it with all of the outside activations.
Artist's Alley (40 minutes) was jumping this past Friday / Saturday. I'm an actor but found it incredibly inspiring to meet and speak with these independent artists 1on 1. Most of the art is very affordable. Don't miss this section of the hall if you ever get to Comic-Con. Thanks for the video!

This is fantastic. I wasn't able to get tickets this year, but this is in some ways better -- I get a tour of the exhibit hall without having to fight the crowds, plus a taller vantage point! I still would like to be there. Maybe next year.
I was lucky to go to SDCC 2019. It was an amazing experience, but extremely overwhelming with a ton of walking. I definitely want to go back and sit in on more panels or even Hall H.
My CEO from Kraken Insurance in Temecula was there for his wives books. You turned right before you captured him missing him. You could see their booth as you were approaching I was hoping to take a screenshot and send it to him.
I do like this long format, but a more silent-slow overview of artists might be more enjoyable, and just 1 extra second given to their website name for lookup would be helpful!
On my trip to Japan this June, one of my favorite cities was Kagoshima! This is the hotel I stayed at, which was one of the best hotels I've been to: ruclips.net/video/RQcpIhbQiFQ/видео.htmlsi=26vrAVqKgrKsmiqp. I think you will have to make the trip one day, you will LOVE it!!!
I hope Comic Con finally moves to Las Vegas. The convention center is 10 times the size, transportation is the best in the country, and there aren't a shortage of hotels to stay at. Not to mention you won't get price gouging by those hotels. Plus, there are a lot more food choices in Vegas to choose from, and you don't have to walk as far. And hopefully, tickets won't be so hard to come by since it's much bigger.
No thanks! The forecast is for 110+ F or 44+ C in Vegas. It is in the 70's F in San Diego so you can take advantage of all the free stuff outside the convention center and not die of the heat.
