I have gotten compliments on musc noir EVERY TIME I have worn it. I bought 50ml a couple months ago and I will be repurchasing a 100ml. It place so well on my skin and I can see it being my signature. Usually I get people say what smells so great! It isn’t “perfumey ” if that makes sense. It is this nice mildly sweet clean comforting musk. Full love. Can’t wait to explore musc noir rose.
I just got musc noir rose and all I get is plum. It smells great and I got it for a decent price. I just found out it is discontinued in the USA 😢. I really like powdery musks /Musca so I will try to get my hands on musc noir!

I recently bought Musc Noir and when I sprayed it the first time I loved it! I sprayed it yesterday on day 2 skin because I’d showered the night before and it smelled like cat pee😩

For me, it is the other way around, with how you percieve the Musc Noir as a daytime fragrance, and the Rose version for evening/night! I just love the Musc Noir; it is really dark to me, and a little mysterious. It has become one of my top 3 fragrances ever. (And I can very well sometimes use it in the daytime, too. Just not at work... it is too strong and sexy for that, in my opinion!) Then, I must say, that Musc Noir Rose was a disappointment to me. No more lovely juicy plum or gorgeous leather/suede - just a big MEH to me, unfortunately! I was curious and looking forward to that Rose version, but there is just not much rose, I think. No personality whatsoever - reminds me a little of the boring La Vie est Belle, but that one is stronger. If I had not known Musc Noir first, I may have loved the Rose version. But now, I think it is just a pale shadow of the true beauty. But I do love your reviews, and to see and hear you, with your natural beauty, nothing artificial about you! ❤

I have Musc Noir and while I really want flanker, I personally don’t feel I can justify having both. BUT when I run out, I’ll get the flanker. Musc Noir definitely gives retro vibes. And it is nice to layer it with pure Musc. In general I have a hard time with the Musc note, but these three seem to work fine.
I picked up rose musc noir a few weeks ago at Macy's (able to get a 1.7oz for $38 due to rewards). I like it but the lasting power leads something to be desired. If they had a lotion maybe it'd be better. I am definitely hoping for a fragrance oil to come out soon

Make your own perfumed lotion by spraying the fragrance on a handful of fragrance free body lotion. Works great on me. I also spray it onto my clean, oiled body. If not, it does not last on my skin as well.
does it smells similar to musc noir? i smelled one of them in the store but i'm not sure which one i smelled but whatever i smelled I WAS OBSESSED so want to know if they are similar but what i remember about the one i smelled , it was fresh at first and then become darker with time and all i can smell is sweet rose so i don't know if this the musc noir or the noir rose
That's interesting because Musc Noir Rose is my signature scent and I'm a Scorpio. I also like NR EDT specifically for the gym, it just motivates me lol.
I have both. They smell beautifully but, unfortunately, they don’t last on me at all. I’ve tried them alone, together, with musk and with oils and nothing. No compliments during time worn. I don’t think anyone can even detect it on me -within the hour - gone. Believe me, I’ve showered and worn them and nothing. Everyone has a different chemistry. It’s such a shame because I do love the fragrance.
I'm in the same boat as you. My absolute favourite fragrance house but none last. By the end of the day any trace of poudree and for her edp is completely gone

Musc Noir lingers on my clothes and skin longer than any of my other perfumes. My bf got me the Musc Noir while he was in Europe and the lady told him that it smells better when you mix it with Pure Musc and I’ve never been so inlove with any scents than Narciso Rodriguez.
I’ve loved all of my Narcisos, so I blind bought Musc Noir. Only a few people might know what I’m talking about, but it smells like the bathrooms in national parks/forests in the western US 😢 like whatever air freshener that is in all of those to cover the port-a-potty smell, it smells like this perfume. Bit too musky for me I guess 😅

I got the musc noir rose.... I like it, I guess. A lil disappointed. I smell GLADE COUNTRY GARDEN potpourri smell!!!! That's all I smell when I smell it. It pisses me off cause I wanted to love it. But I'm still trying. Maybe I'll get over the glade potpourri smell. Shit

Yea something about Musc Noir is like “meh”. But that Musc Rose Noir is EVERYTHING! Uber uber good and affordable

I limit myself to a few sprays on the bottom of my sweater so there's no contact with him. I also tend to reach for clean fragrances more often

Musc noir is so addictive. The only downfall is duration. It disappears so fast.
