I have an F30 mask and have bought liners from Silentnight at 6 quid each which only last for a week and are rough on the skin, then from Padacheek a piece of cloth with a few holes cut in it for 40 quid! Then I thought, hang on, I could do that much cheaper. I just need it to protect my skin from the mask so I borrowed a cotton face mask from my sister and she cut two holes for nose and mouth, clipped it over my ears then put the F30 over it. Works fine. You can get them for 1 or 2 quid and they are washable. Give it a try. Also found that the mask slips forward and so doesn't stay firmly on the nose, especially a problem when sleeping. Bought some large velcro cable ties and connected the front and back headstraps, tightened it to a secure and comfortable position and it works fine and stays in position through the night. Great to be able to use the F30 as it is the most comfortable and the full face one brings out a nasty rash on my nose.
I was wondering why the foam mask can't be cleaned with the So clean. I just got the foam mask and put it in the so clean machine twice so why not?

The F20 pillow does NOT work well with the F30 mask, in my opinion. It leaves a leaking gap at the top.
The Memory foam is a great mask. I'm still getting some pinkness on my nose bridge. Its a hit or miss. I'm anxious to give the F30 a try. I've been using the Amara View off and on - I like the Amara - but since it is a smaller mask - and has less surface area, it is prone to shift on my face - and develop leaks. I'm hoping the F30 will give me a good fall back for when I need a break from the AirFit mask. By the way - I have washed - full immersion, the foam masks. I dry them with a small computer fan - and it takes 10 or 12 hours. They do loose some of their seal and shape. I"m just trying to maximize the life of these masks.
I use a SoClean unit. Put the entire mask in the unit.
I have been trying to wear the Dreamwear full face mask - mask seems comfortable but have an issue with losing a seal with the nose piece often. Air blows up into my eyes. Is this a common issue with that mask? Trying to decide if I need to try to the F30 or move over to the F20. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.
I clean my memory foam mask with soap and water. I have been doing this daily without problems.

does the quiet air exhaust port fit the n20 nasal pillow mask, the exhaust port is loud and often wakes my wife and me up would like to sleep through the night

Been looking everywhere and cant find it... how in the world do you clean the newer quietair vent? Does the plastic cap come off? Does the foam looking stuff not harbor a place for bacteria to grow after it gets wet?

Was not able to innerchange the f30 headgear with an f20 mask. I like the f20 headgear but, did not care for the mask due to excessive leaks. But really like the idea of the f30 headgear!
Yeah the video is misleading. The F20 mask will appear to snap into the F30 headgear at first go (as he shows in the video starting @2:50), but it is not held in place as securely and you'll get small air leaks as it wobbles inside the headgear, especially if you're a restless or side sleeper. Best to use F20 headgear with F20 mask and F30 headgear with F30 mask.
i'M STRUGGLing to snap the two pieces of the mask apart. You do it with ease and I can't see how you're doing it. I have the F20 silicone mask and replacements for it. I've yet to see someone take it apart slowly on camera...I find the mask more comfortable..but still do not get any more than 4 hours sleep.
Depending on what browser you’re using to watch the videos, there’s an option to change the play speed to slower. I hope the tip helps so you can observe the details of tutorial. Can you try a sleep aid so you can get more than 4 hrs at a time? I’m a shift worker so I typically can’t get more of 4-6 hrs. Other times I sleep 10 hrs but from exhaustion.
I just got the N20 mask, Jet stream hits my hub in the back...is there an alternative quiet vented piece i can add?
I have that mask. F20. Why don’t you say anything about no air coming out of the air vents in the elbow.?
when will you do review on new Resmed F30i full face mask?..maybe compare it to Philips Dreamwear full face..=)
feels like the vent are too far away on the f20, its like I am breathing my own air. I do not have a f30 but I have the Philips one and its a lot better, however the Philips one feels a bit small just like he says with f30.
I have to use bipap to help get rid of the CO2 build up in my lungs. I bought this mask and can’t see or feel any air vents. I feel I am breathing the CO2 right back I have only used it for a half an hour. I’m afraid to use it

Do the magnets for F20 fit for F30 please? Or is the headgear interchangeable? I bought the wrong head gear and came without clips. And it seems the F30 headgear is more expensive than F20 but they look identical. I’ve seen the magnet clips being sold separately as well. Oh, and I check for pressure w that valve too. It’s super quiet and sometimes I wonder if machine still running but it is. I also swap between masks because they leave marks on my face/nose.
Thanks sir, I mistake bought F30, then it does not fit me at all. I saw your video and bought the silicon F20 cushion. It fit me perfect and I am able to use the mask frame F30 with F20 cushion. Thanks alot. my DME told me it does not fit, they lied to me.
Do the magnetic clips from the F20 fit the F30 please? I bought the wrong head gear and didn’t come w the clips. When I look online the headgear for F30 is more expensive but looks identical to F20.
The Air Mini with the F30 setup pack using an F30 silicone mask is very noisy. I guess the quiet air technology is not used on the AirMini kit. Is there a solution to using this combination but reducing the air noise ? Thanks.

Can the AirTouch memory foam mask be used in a SoClean 2 for daily cleaning?

Thank you for the speedy response! If you HAD to pick between the AirTouch and the F30 what would you choose? My F20 is really aggravating the bridge of my nose.
Duke Ledford Keep them and use them both. I swap out masks constantly and have nose bridge problems.
How is the F30 with a full beard and higher pressures?
We have gotten bad feedback with beards and the F30 from several of our patients. Our go to beard mask is an oldie but goodie called the Fisher & Paykel Simplus.
