I love this pattern! Finished my first hat in this style and have plans to make a bunch more! I especially like that it is very easy to size up or down for head size and yarn thickness. Just ensure about 2 inches between each rib and count how many stitches you will need of the yarn you want to use. Thank you so much for this one!

Beautiful hat, love it. How about a matching scarf or cowl to go with it? Thankyou!

Ooh. That would be a lovely idea. I’ll put that on my planner.

I love your videos! So nice and easy to follow! Could you do one for a sweater? I’ve been wanting to make one but all the other videos on RUclips seem so confusing and it’s hard to follow! Thanks !😊

That's a great idea. I've been hesitant to do a sweater, mainly because in order for me to do a video on how to do a knit pattern it has to be a pattern that I designed myself. I hate to admit, but I have yet to design a sweater pattern. I typically try to do items that don't take as long to do so when I do a video it doesn't become a full length feature film, lol. But I should put it on my goal list to design a simple sweater that wouldn't be too long to film or instruct. Thanks for the suggestion.

Is there an easy way to tell if you are on a slip row or a knit row? I’m afraid I would lose track! Thank you. I love your videos.

One way of course is to simply track and count with a row/stitch counter. But of course even then you can lose track. If you can recognize what your slip stitch looks like and see that the next stitch is that slip stitch, then you know you are on your knit round. An easy way to recognize that slip stitch is to look at in from the back. If it has a horizontal band over the stitch that means you had slipped that stitch on the previous row, so now you would knit it. If it doesn't have that band, then you had knitted that on the previous row and now you have to slip it. I hope that helps. Best of luck.
