Yup, not really a lot of plot holes except for the fatal stab wound part and putting the book and infinity stone together. The rest just mostly make of their names and make up.

True Story: They downplayed the Cape's part in the second draft of the script.
It was felt that "Redmane" the Cape was overshadowing the lead, by having an entertaining and approachable personality.

The Infinity Stones are more scientifically plausible than that defibrillator
I heard they hired real medical people for the surgery scene; it's amazing how they managed to be so medically inaccurate with reallife professionals on hand...
What does that mean I don’t understand
I think they just mean the way dr Strange was brought back to life in the hospital wasn't at all realistic. "Defibulator" is the thing that you put on a persons chest to....zap them... .back to life? (I'm not a doctor)
I'm pretty sure there was an actual surgeon in that scene doing genius surgery things to him. His heart stopped from the shock along the way, but the defib didn't take the place of the doctor: that was just one tool she was using to solve a particular problem.

lol I actually really like Tilda Swinton as the ancient one. Her vibe is so uncommon and androgynous that it's like she is beyond a human being. Which is what i would expect from a 500 yr old sorcerer supreme. The old ancient wise man with a giant beard is actually quite trite and cliched in comparison. Why would a super powerful being be old and slow moving and choose to deal with the friction of hair that slows down his/her movement when fighting anyway lol.

I personally LOVE the conversation, reminds me of an old Hugh and Laurie sketch with two spies that talk with the same casual demeanor throughout.
This video has touched me so much.. never have I ever been so touched by one video enough to put me in tears. It's truly amazing.. the message is amazing after I've been mean to everyone and have driven recklessly I have gotten in trouble many times and have come close to a car crash. The reason why they changed the ancient one from a Tibetan monk to Celtic woman is because China doesn't recognize Tibet.
In the original telling of his origin story doctor Strange meets the ancient one in the portion of the Himalayas located in India. The ancient one isn't Tibetan or Indian. The ancient one is so old as to outlived his own people and country. If the writers had done proper research there would have been no need to change the ancient one.

In Strange's defense, the person talking to Strange is a lay-person, so he might be thinking that the person was just putting advanced technology in a familiar context. So when Strange goes and they tell him about what he's always known as pseudo-scientific nonsense he might be just thinking that they're literally taking the piss just to insult him.

I’ve watched watched every pitch meeting at least 5 times and I’m still going. The humor and accuracy is the tops.
The cape actualy helps him throughout the movie. In all of the crazy inception style scenes, as he falls from buildings, it's the cape that slows down his descent. That and Morbo's boots

I love watching pitch meetings! It frees up so much of my time from having to actually watch a movie I really didn't want to see. A six minute movie pitch tells me everything I needed to know about the film in the most humorous way.
Does he have any redeeming qualities? YES! HE SAVES LIVES on daily basis

No, I know doctors. The saving lives thing you're going for makes sense, but it doesn't mean they are good people just because they're doing their job. I respect that it is a knowledge base that is very difficult and expensive to acquire and maintain but it doesn't come along with being a good person who is in it to save lives for all of them. And in the movie Strange is shown turning down surgeries because they had a fair chance of failure and would mess up his stats. So he was only saving the lives of people to make himself look good not because he cared. He had the time to try and save those other people too but chose not to.
This will get lost in the comments ocean, but a pitch meeting treatment of Big Bang Theory & Two and a Half Men seems in order.
Ryan has MP'd other iconic TV shows, in fact, they were also sitcoms; he did both Seinfeld and Friends, and both were awesome.
