The incredibly powerful character is being introduced just in time to lend a hand in Avengers: Endgame. Her origin story definitely raises some questions though. 4:25 the incredible cuteness of that cat giving Ryan a big hug totally killed my suspension of disbelief.
Well, the cat kept looking one way, and then the other way, so it proved that this was shot out of sequence, which really killed my immersion, but it was super cute, so it's fine.

Honestly I thought they gave her to much personality.. like ever second she was making an snarky comment that didn't fit her character. She looked like a bad ass dark warrior, but kept throwing a strange smirk with a unneeded comment on something.
That said, minus her acting (which I don't understand because she's an great actress) the movie was great, the story was fun and the CGI was beautiful. Hell I'll even state the sounds track was good, usually marvel music (minus winter soldier and Avengers) suck

Ryan is so brilliant in his merciless dissection of movie weaknesses. Too bad the studios don’t hire him to critique their screenplays and storyboards BEFORE their films are finalized.

Don't be silly. They throw out the script as soon as they start shooting, because they're too creative to be constrained by screenplays and any planning. Ever since Robert Downey, Jr. ad-libbed one witty line, they all think they have to do it, because, you know, they're so creative.

This movie clashed with the other movies. Nick Fury learned there was more to the world with the first Thor... but in the mcu, he should've already known by this movies presentation.
I mean learning about aliens would be shocking indeed. Learning one of them is actually Thor from Norse mythology, would be a totally different level.

Doesn't explain a thing about the scene. If anything it makes him a fool. When confronted he blames it on Thor. The research they found went back further had to. So one scene made 3 characters into dummys.
The best response at that time was partial blame on Thor and Loki... Then go into the part where they aren't alone stating they both know it and hes seen things only about 4 people on that ship could even imagine. Things that make Asgardians look like puppies. (meaning Thor/Loki)

5 years later and we know it wasn't Trolls. This was Disney's first real misstep in the MCU
