Yet another great vidoe, i can't wait to have a go at making these pretty beads. And i can't thank you enough for the link about the wax, what a fantastic product, i have already ordered some and cant wait to start using it. This polymer clay hobby is really addictive, I'm loving it. And with lovely people such as yourself guiding and helping, it makes it all the more fun! 😀👍
I look forward to your videos, they are like getting a gift. Well, they a gift, I have learned so much. I think we would be great friends in life, because your outlook on claying and just life in general is much like mine. Thank you so much for sharing.
I've seen so many polymer clay videos and I've never come across this technique. Thank you so much for sharing that. And congrats on your wedding, may both of you have happiness together always.! You have an awesome personality, btw.!
Um... I guess use a similar amount of clay and keep comparing? Be careful about touching baked beads after touching raw clay (you'll get raw plasticisers on them and they might go sticky).
Great vid like usual ,I love your sense of humor .Your tutorials are so fun to watch .These stripe beads came out very nice ,will try to make them . Loves
Thanks for the video you are a great teacher I just started I'm still a beginner and I'm learning I'm a crocheter and I wanted to do something different with my grandchild my question is when you made the stripes underneath did you use the same colors that you did on The strips at the beginning thanks
Erm... The middle chunk was made of scrap clay but it was pretty much the same colours as the strips I added. Those strips twist around as you roll and make the thin stripes. x
I'm not sure from personal experience but this lady knows a LOT, has a background in Science and does her homework: thebluebottletree.com/floor-wax-on-polymer-clay/
Tialisa Chapman Do you roll it with a block, or something? You're not holding the skewer are you, or that will happen. If you are doing it right and that still happens, try making sure that the core is really warm and soft. Also start it off gently. I roll one way to bend the stripes in one direction.
not holding the skewer but im rolling it by hand so maybe the pressure is to uneven?and it may also be because the clay is cold...Thanks!!i'll try it this way instead!
When I went my sisters like a few months ago she has this sort of clay and me and my niece was making little figures and then she baked them and it was so cool ❤️ not as good as your things though obviously 😊
I'm fine. Life has sidetracked me and I keep promising to make an update... I will make one! Butt nothing bad has happened, just stupid complications. ;) xx
I live for danger! *grins* I use the glass from picture frames all the time and don't have the edges protected. Of course I also use my cutting blades without the handles so if I am not looking I run the risk of cutting myself. I have too. :P I don't mind it though. Just further alteration of my fingertips so I can't be identified. *laughs* Those are really neat looking. Very well done and thank you for sharing. :D - Heidi
Have you ever made molds for yourself? Not texture plates, but molds of dolls' faces, buttons, etc? I have had the MOST indifferent success despite watching tutorials (some of which are ridiculous, such as the ones that use a hot glue gun and drizzle a pile of glue over an object). :)
Your tutorials are so helpful. I love that yu show us the stuff that doesn't work, such as the knitting needles.
I agree we should all check ourselves before we wreck ourselves. Sound advice my friend! Great video!
Thanks! And yes, essential information there! xx
This was an awesome find. Tried it and loved it. Thank you so much for sharing..........you are one of my favorite for sure.

Where can I find an acrylic block like you're using? I haven't found them anywhere I've looked. Thank you.
They are the blocks used to mount rubber printing letters/pictures. I got mine from Amazon. Look at printing blocks, or papercraft stuff...
Great tutorial! Ty 😁👍🏼
Can I use other wax instead of Renaissance Micro Crystalline Wax ?
I'm not sure from personal experience but this lady knows a LOT, has a background in Science and does her homework: thebluebottletree.com/floor-wax-on-polymer-clay/
Thank you! I'll search more on the topic. I was thinking that I can use bee-wax or something natural too.
Pretty!
You are the best!
Thank you! xx
i enjoy that thank you
Where can you find these acrylic blocks?
They are the ones people attach rubber printing stamps to - so any card-making section of a craft store. I got mine from Amazon. x
Thanks! Great video 🤗
when i try rolling on a skewer it make the hole large messes up the bead,,is that why the one direction & the pinching the ends?

I have... I like Oyumaru, which is reusable (I think I have a review on here somewhere). Available on Amazon, of course.
